The Today Show is switching it up this year as the morning show is headed to the South.

Soon, the NBC show will be relocating from New York City to Florida and is promising loyal viewers an “epic” time. Today hosts Craig Melvin and Savannah Guthrie hinted at the change with a sneak peek at Thursday’s altered show. The talk show trio, which includes Al Roker, revealed that The Today Show was now going to be broadcasting from Florida.

But this only temporary since the show is relocating for only one day.

In celebration of Universal’s Epic Universe opening, the team is going to Florida.

For the episode, The Today Show will be filming from a brand new theme park in Orlando, Florida.

The morning show moderators reporting from the new Orlando theme park is them giving fans of what’s being offered.

News of the brief change was announced in a video shared on Instagram by Craig and Savannah today.

Al was also spotted in the clip exploring the massive park. By the end of the short video, Craig insisted that tomorrow’s episode was “going to be epic.”

Many commented under the post, with one writing, “Awesome! I can’t wait to watch this!” A second added, “This is so exciting!”

The Today Show has been going through many changes as of late. It was revealed last week that Savannah would replacing Hoda Kotb as Jenna Bush Hager’s co-host as Hoda has departed from the show.

The official Today show Instagram account recently shared that Savannah was taking Hoda’s place next week.

“Our girl SG will be back in the #JennaandFriends co-hosting chair all next week! You don’t want to miss it,” the announcement post caption said.

Several commented beneath the upload, praising Savannah’s new move.

One user stated under the post: “The duo we NEED,” as another stated, “Put her in the spot permanently!”

While the newscaster is going to be present for the fourth hour, it won’t be permanent, instead only for the slot next week. Savannah won’t replace Hoda full time.
