A TV broadcaster has branded Elon Muk and Donald Trum’s public spat ‘7th grade girl’.

Today show host Savannah Guthrie has attacked the two men and their public feud, which has included Muk claiming Trum is named in the Jeffrey Epstein files, as she covered the ongoing drama between the pres!dent and the Tesla CEO.

Speaking on the NBC show, she said: “First of all, to just use TikTok language, it’s giving a 7th-grade girl. This back and forth, online, and from the Oval Office.”

While her co-stars were left giggling at her statement, Meet the Press anchor Kristen Welker agreed, saying, “Savannah, you hit the nail on the head.”

Savannah’s commentary comes after Trum spoke with Good Morning America presenter and political correspondent Jonathan Karl, with some damning words for Elon Muk.

After a phone call with Karl, he revealed that Trum has brushed off any chance of repairing the friendship and relationship and is “not particularly interested” in a reconciliation.

Karl explained on air: “Elon wants to talk to him, he’s not ready to talk to Muk.” He added that Trum called Muk: “A man who has lost his mind.”

The drama between Muk and Trum has caught the attention of the US and the world, with others also wading in to give their view. Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke to Spectrum 1 News, saying, “Oh man, the girls are fighting, aren’t they?”

She continued: “You know, I would say that this was something that was a long time coming, where we’ve been seeing that these two huge egos were not long for being together in this world as friends.

“And so I think this breakup, we’ve been seeing a long time coming. But we’ll see what the impacts are of it legislatively.”

Muk stepped down from his role within Trum’s administration and as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) at the end of last month. In the days since he has been heavily criticizing his former friend, including calling him out on his own platform X and addressing his recent bills as well as claiming Trum was named in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Earlier this week, Muk posted: “I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”

Trum hit back in a press conference, breaking his silence on the pair’s friendship. He told reporters, “Elon knew the inner workings of this bill better than almost anyone sitting here.

“He had no problem with it. All of a sudden he had a problem, and he only developed the problem when he found out that we’re going to have to cut the [electric vehicle] mandate, because that’s billions and billions of dollars.”

He added: “Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore.”
