SURPRISE CONNECTION! Jenna Bush Hager FORMS Close Friendship with Celebrity Guest – Hoda Kotb’s Departure LEADS to UNFORESEEN ALLIANCE

Jenna Bush Hager has opened up about an ‘unexpected’ friendship that she has formed on Today following the departure of her cohost Hoda Kotb back in January.

After Hoda’s exit, the NBC show was rebranded as Today with Jenna & Friends and has seen Jenna, 43, cohost the show with a variety of huge names including Eva Longoria, Scarlett Johansson, Olivia Munn, and even her own husband Henry Hager.

And while Jenna seems to get along with all of her temporary cohosts, it seems one in particular has found a special place in her heart as she took to her Instagram Story on Monday to gush about Tiffany Haddish – who cohosted with her last week.

Posting a photo of them on the show together, Jenna wrote alongside it, “Sometimes you meet friends at unexpected times! Love you @tiffanyhaddish.”

She then added, “No one makes me laugh like @tiffanyhaddish,” and went on to describe the Girls Trip star as “wildly talented.” Tiffany, 45, also expressed her happiness after developing a friendship with Jenna, as she addressed their connection on a post shared on the official Instagram page for Today with Jenna & Friends.

Tiffany wrote, “I will say this and I don’t say things like this often but hands down. I would work with Jenna doing ANYTHING seriously! I feel like we should have been childhood friends but God has a plan and I am obedient. We are friends now and that is all that matters to me.”

Jenna replied, “@tiffanyhaddish love you so much!!! Thanks for making us all laugh!” In the comment section, some fans called for Tiffany and Jenna to become co-hosts permanently with one writing, “I would love to see Tiffany as your co-host .. watch the ratings go sky high she’s funny as hell.” Another said, “I have so enjoyed Tiffany!!”

A third person wrote, “@tiffanyhaddish you need this gig!!!!! What is better than watching Jenna everyday??? Watching Jenna and Tiffany every day!!! My life would be complete.” Someone else added, “@tiffanyhaddish LOVED you 2 together!!! You have never looked better & loved your stunning outfits.”

It comes months after Hoda, who became a close friend of Jenna while hosting the show together, stepped down from her role. Last year, Hoda said of their friendship, “We started off as colleagues/friends. We didn’t really know each other. Over the five years, there’s such a deep understanding of the other’s soul and purpose.”

“We have traveled down these roads together,” she added. “A lot of times friendships don’t grow, you talk about the old days. Not ours. Like every day [there’s] something different, something new, something we’re learning.”

Meanwhile, Jenna, who is a busy working mom-of-three, has received support from fans after admitting she was “exhausted” after a “really long day.” Speaking to the camera, Jenna, who recently sparked concern among her fans about her appearance, posted a video on Instagram where she confessed, “I’ve had a long day, I’m really exhausted and I’m about to get ready for a date night.”

‌Fans flocked to social media to comment and cheered her on after she confessed she was just like us mere mortals. One wrote under her post, “My queen so beautiful. Have a great dinner with your partner.” A second chimed in, “Beautiful”, while a third said her make-up looked “radiant.”
