Explosive Allegation RHONY Star Leah McSweeney ACCUSES Andy Cohen Of Orchestrating Vicious Smear Campaign Using 24 Bravo Celebrities

LEAH MsSweeney has claimed her former boss Andy Cohen ordered 24 current and former Bravo stars to spread nasty rumors about her, in her ongoing lawsuit against him and the network.

The former Real Housewives of New York City star submitted a request to file a second amended complaint in federal court on Wednesday, The U.S. Sun can report.

Leah, 42, initially filed her suit against Andy, 56, Bravo and the show’s production company Shed Media,  in February of last year, claiming Bravo was a “rotted workplace culture that uniquely depended on pressuring its employees to consume alcohol,” which she claimed hurt her personal journey with sobriety.

At the forefront of Leah’s battle against Bravo, is her claim that “producers directly coerced and harassed [her] based on her [addiction].”

Since her initial filing, the judge dismissed some of the Real Housewives star’s claims, but the former Bravolebrity is asking to bolster her suit with additional allegations against Andy and Bravo.

The single mother is now claiming Andy “directed and/or induced at least twenty-four (24) Defendant Bravo current and former cast members to publicly allege cast dispersion on Plaintiff’s employment reputation while lauding [Andy].”

In her new filing, she claimed that the defendant producers are libel for aiding and abetting Andy and the company’s discriminatory and retaliatory conduct.

“The amended Aiding and Abetting Claims allege additional facts to plausibly allege that the Defendant Producers participated in Defendant Cohen’s and the Defendant Companies’ (collectively “Defendant Employers”) discriminatory and retaliatory conduct, did so with a community of purpose with the Defendant Employers, failed to remediate and/or investigate Plaintiff’s complaints of discriminatory and retaliatory conduct throughout her employment.”

She claimed that Andy “engaged in a coordinated, multi-faceted retaliatory campaign against [her] after [she] filed her Complaint against [Andy].”

Leah is claiming that Andy’s retaliatory campaign against her “has and will have a chilling effect on similarly situated employees that wish to engage in protected activity, and that Plaintiff has suffered concrete harm as a result of Defendant Cohen’s Amended Letter-Retaliation Acts.”

Leah had previously claimed that a letter written by Andy’s lawyers, but not part of the suit, was leaked to the press.

In the letter, Andy’s team allegedly threatened Leah with action should her lawsuit move forward.

Leah claimed that that letter was a tactic to deter anyone else thinking about filing a similar legal action against Andy and Bravo.

She is further alleging that as a result of the leaked letter and other retaliatory acts by Andy that she has “lost at least one (1) employment opportunities and her ability to obtain prospective, new employment opportunities has decreased by approximately fifty percent (50%).”

Andy has firmly denied the allegations against him via his attorney calling them completely false and a “baseless lawsuit.”

KELLY BENSIMON HITS BACK

As The U.S. Sun previously reported, in the aftermath of Leah’s initial complaint, Bravo stars spoke out against her and supported Andy.

RHONY alum Kelly Bensimon previously sent a warning to the Season 12 and 13 vet in a chat with The U.S. Sun.

“I love Andy. I really don’t know Leah. I never filmed with her.

“I’ve met her a couple of times through some friends of mine.

“She seems lovely. I mean, I don’t have anything to say about her. I just don’t like her talking about me.”

As Page Six reported, Kelly became involved in the lawsuit after Leah alleged that producers considered the infamous “Scary Island” episode the benchmark for creating ratings-driven television.

In the episode, Kelly exhibited behavior that appeared erratic and disconnected from reality.

Leah claimed that producers attempted to replicate this dynamic by casting her as a potential successor to the former Housewives star.

SAYING GOODBYE

Leah exited RHONY in 2021 and later revealed on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with Amanda Hirsch that she probably wouldn’t return to the show.

Leah shared, “The way I go about my life is, like, that it’s not happening. You know what I mean?”

“Like, I’m not banking on it to come back, I’m not banking on going back like I don’t see it that way. Like, it doesn’t mean that I don’t think that I’m gonna go back, it’s just, that’s how I live my life, because who the hell knows?”

“I can’t imagine being on the reboot because I’m like, ‘wait, now I’m on with a bunch of people that I don’t know again, I’m not doing that.

“And, like, who else is going to be on it?’ I don’t know… I can’t see that, honestly,” she said.

As Page Six previously reported, RHONY is going off the air, with no current plans for it to return with hopes to reconfigure it in the future.
