Emmerdale delivered a significant development concerning Mackenzie Boyd’s son, Reuben, and Chloe Harris during Friday’s Boxing Day instalment.

In the latest instalment, Kerry Wyatt popped round to see Mackenzie with a festive family revelation that delighted the Scottish farmer and mechanic.

Throughout Friday’s Boxing Day episode, Kerry gave Mack news about his son. Mack was clearly emotional as he exclaimed: “Wow, look at him, he’s so big! A proper little lad!” while looking at photographs of the toddler opening his presents.

Upon Mack’s request for the photos, Kerry consented to send them, admitting she hadn’t intended to inform Chloe. Kerry said: “It’s Christmas, you’re his dad, and you deserve to know how he’s doing…”

Mack replied with gratitude: “That means the world, it’s amazing, thank you.”

Who is Chloe on Emmerdale?

Chloe debuted on the ITV soap in 2021 as Gemma Harris’ sister, who donated her heart to Sarah Sugden in a transplant.

It quickly emerged that Chloe’s father, Damon, was a dangerous gangster, whilst Kerry Wyatt worked as the family’s cleaner and had become a mother figure to Chloe.

Before long, Chloe became romantically involved with villagers including Noah Dingle, Nate Robinson and Jacob Gallagher. However, Noah, who developed an unhealthy fixation on Chloe, began to exhibit alarming behaviour.

After finding hundreds of photos and video recordings from her bedroom on his laptop, he was reported to the police and sentenced to three months in prison.

In a shocking twist, it was later revealed that Kerry was actually Chloe’s biological mother. When she fell pregnant at a young age, Kerry sought help from her childhood friend, Karen Harris. Karen and Damon then adopted Chloe, as they were keen to expand their family.

Chloe’s biological father is a man named Tony, who is also the father of the late Amy Wyatt. Chloe discovered later in life that her biological mother was indeed Kerry and that she had a sister, Amy.

Audiences may recall that Mack had a brief affair with Chloe during a temporary split from Charity Dingle, which resulted in Chloe falling pregnant with Mack’s child.

Chloe subsequently gave birth to a son named Reuben. When Charity eventually found out, it shattered her marriage to Mack.

In a dramatic turn of events, Chloe’s criminal father, Damon, decided to kidnap Mack. In the ensuing struggle to disarm Damon and save Mack, Charity accidentally shot and killed Damon.

When the police arrived, Chloe told Mack she would claim Charity fired the gun in self-defence, but only if he gave up custody of Reuben and allowed her to move to France.

Despite Mack’s initial reluctance, he finally consented to let Reuben leave for Charity’s sake, leading to Chloe and Reuben’s departure from the village and leaving Mack devastated at losing his son. The duo last appeared on Emmerdale in 2023.
