One  LBC caller shared their outrage at Keir Starmer discussed the May local elections on the radio show. Labour won the 2024 General Election with a landslide victory, but in the months since their move to power, the  public have hit Starmer with an influx of scrutiny. On the LBC radio show, caller Lenny spoke to Henry Riley about his thoughts on Starmer, and he didn’t remotely hold back. He fumed: “He’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing with his lies.

“When he won the nomination to be head of the Labour Party, he promised all the members what he was going to do, but once he was in the driving seat all that went by the window.” The caller fumed that he failed to keep his promises and repeated the same vows during the General Election.

The caller fumed Starmer was just telling everyone “what they wanted to hear”. He then added: “But once he was elected, the wolf in sheep’s clothing come serviced again! He’s an out and out liar.” The caller also fumed there was “no respect” for Starmer.

Henry then questioned the caller and said: “So it’s everything? It’s not one thing it’s not policy, it’s not communication, it’s not the man. It’s basically all three?” To which the caller agreed and said: “Yeah, the man is a liar!”

People also rushed to the comments to share their opinions on the caller’s comments as one user fumed: “The caller is correct!” Another wrote: “Lenny is not wrong, is he?”

It’s another bout of humiliation for Starmer after being poetically dubbed “Plank of The Year” on TalkTV’s debate on the Saturday evening show. Panellists each arrived to their own conclusions as to who they believed should be nominated and gave their pitches.

However, host Kevin O’Sullivan ended the show with a shocking dig to Starmer and said: “We have to choose the overarching, massive, predominant Plank of the Year, and that can only be, our pathetic, useless, calamitous Prime Minister, two-tier Sir Keir Starmer. Sir Keir Starmer, you are Plank of the Year!”

It came as panellist Candice Holdsworth had said earlier in the show that Starmer was “too afraid” to get rid of Rachel Reeves after the budget backlash as he fears if she goes, he goes.
