An ITV’s Limitless Win contestant became emotional on Saturday night
The prime-time quiz show made a comeback on Saturday (December 27) evening with a Christmas special, boasting an innovative game format that offers contestants the chance to win an unlimited jackpot.
In this festive episode, participants received assistance from celebrity guests, including Jamie Redknapp, who aided 52 year old Nigel in tackling the Limitless Ladder challenge.
However, emotions ran high even before the game commenced as Nigel, seated amongst the audience, was informed he would be participating. Former soldier Nigel Seaman, who established his coffee business Combat2Coffee to aid fellow veterans grappling with mental health issues and PTSD, was visibly moved as a video montage played, featuring his friends and family lauding his efforts.
Back in the studio, a tearful Nigel was asked by Ant and Dec: “Do you want to play Limitless Win?” To which Nigel responded: “When I stop crying I will!”.

Nigel then rose and made his way backstage to join the show. Ant remarked: “We need to wipe away the tears from his eyes.”, reports the Mirror.
Dec added: “We need some tissues”, before scanning the room and asking: “Has anybody got any tissues?”. Nigel then stepped onto the stage to meet Ant and Dec, with Ant asking: “Have you stopped crying?” to which Nigel responded: “I have but don’t set me off again.”
Ant reassured him: “I won’t set you off again.” With Jamie Redknapp’s assistance, Nigel managed to secure an impressive £30,000 by the game’s conclusion. ”

Reflecting on his victory, Nigel expressed: “I’m humbled and elated.
He continued: “39 grand’s a lot of money and I appreciate this and thank you for what you’ve done for me. I mean that.”
When questioned about the impact the windfall would have on his circumstances, Nigel revealed: “I put my savings into Combat2Coffee. It’ll help my kids a little bit as well.”
