Lorraine Kelly sent an emotional message to Davina McCall during her live show on Monday.
The 65-year-old rallied around the presenter, 58, as she shared the devastating news that she has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Davina disclosed that she underwent surgery three weeks ago after finding a lump in her breast, as she announced the news in an emotional video posted to her Instagram account on Saturday morning.
Addressing the heartbreaking news on Lorraine’s self-titled daytime show, she began: ‘We’re so so sorry she’s had to go through that.’
Lorraine then turned to speak to the founder of the Change+Check campaign.
‘It has been caught so early, which is wonderful,’ she continued, making reference to the nationwide campaign that has been running for six years.

The host said it was one of the things she was most proud of during her time at ITV.
In a bid to raise awareness, the campaign has formed a choir and climbed the O2.
Lorraine even participated in a semi-nude photoshoot earlier this year.
Davina – who underwent surgery for a brain tumour just last year – shared her ‘anger’ towards the diagnosis.
Lorraine added: ‘It shows it can happen to anyone. We’re sending her all of our love, to Davina and anybody going through the same thing, it’s scary.’
Meanwhile, Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha says Davina bravely confided in her after finding out.
During today’s panel, she revealed how she had seen her recently at the ITV studios where she had confided in her about having cancer, days before she went public with the news.
It comes after Davina opened up about her battle with the world over the weekend.

‘I just wanted to tell you that I have had breast cancer. I found a lump a few weeks ago and it came and went, but then I was working on The Masked Singer and Lorraine Kelly’s TV show had put signs on the back of all the doors saying to “check your breasts” and every time I went for a wee, I did that.
‘And it was still there. One morning I saw it in the mirror and thought I needed to get it looked at, so I had a biopsy and found out that it was indeed breast cancer.’
She continued: ‘The margins were very small so I got it very, very early, which is incredibly lucky.
‘But I am so relieved to have had it removed and to know that it hasn’t spread. My lymph nodes were clear and I didn’t have any removed.
‘All I am going to do now is have five days of radiotherapy in January, as kind of an insurance policy, and then I am on my journey to try and stop it ever coming back.’
She added: ‘It’s been a lot. I was very angry when I found out, but I let go of that and feel in a much more positive place now. I think my message is, get checked if you’re worried. Check yourself regularly. If you are due a mammogram, then get it done.’
Lorraine concluded: ‘I’m sending Davina all my love. She’s been through such a lot, and she’s such a terrific woman.’
Lorraine’s Change+Check campaign aims to raise awareness of the signs of breast cancer, giving viewers information on what symptoms to be aware of.
