The likes of Jesse Watters, Greg Gutfeld, Harold Ford, Kayleigh McEnany and Dana Perino all dished their thoughts on ABC corespondant Terry Moran being suspended from ABC News.

Like always, the panel on Fox News’ The Five discussed an array of topics, from the ongoing Los Angeles riots sparked by President Donald Trump’s raids to the news of Moran being dropped from their competitor network, ABC.

Moran called out Trump administration deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller a “world-class hater” in a since-deleted social media post shared on X. Moran’s post was swiftly condemned by officials in the Republican administration, including Vice President J.D. Vance.

In a statement, ABC News insisted it “stands for objectivity and impartiality in its news coverage and does not condone subjective personal attacks on others.” The New York-based network added that Moran was suspended pending further evaluation.

With this fresh in everyone’s minds, The Five host Watters asked his co-panellist Ford: “Do you think Terry comes back from this?”

“I don’t know, I don’t know the guy. ABC clearly has standards and I appreciate that. I do think that when you have these thoughts…sleep on these things, there’s no need to share these thoughts and get yourself all jammed up,” he replied.

Adding: “Always get a good night’s sleep before you tweet your thoughts.”

Later on in the segment, McEnany chimed in: “Shame on ABC that you didn’t fire him in 2017 when he was tweeting Nazi comparisons against Donald Trump and same thing to that effect in 2021, where were you then?

“Don’t tell me you are impartial and you care about standards,” she continued to fume. “In 2027 this guy outed himself and it took you until 2025 to out him,” the conservative political commentator concluded.

Kayleigh McEnany

Kayleigh McEnany said ABC should be ashamed following Moran suspension

Moran, who interviewed President Trump just a few weeks ago, also said in his post, which was shared on X at 12:06 a.m. on Sunday, that the president was a “world-class hater,” too. But he wrote that for the president, his hatred is a means to an end, “and that end is his own glorification.”

For Miller, Moran’s post said, “his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate.”

As McEnany referenced in her rant, in 2021, Moran went as far as to refer to Trump as a “Führer” in the Republican Party.

“[Trump] has the Republican Party as a personalized power like we haven’t seen,” he said at the time, adding: “It’s a caudillo, it’s a Caesar, it’s a Führer. We don’t see that in this country. We do now.”

Moran also invoked Nazi-adjacent comparisons when describing Trump after his first inaugural speech in January 2017.

He declared: “[I]t carries with it overtones from the 1930s when an anti-Semitic movement saying, ‘We don’t want to get involved in Europe’s war. It’s the Jews’ fault in Germany!’ Charles Lindbergh led them. It is a term, as he defined it his way, but the words carry ugly echoes in our history.”
