Nadiya, paired with Chris Robshaw on the last Strictly series, said of filming: “This film is about rivalry, romance, and the quiet magic that happens when two people truly connect on the dancefloor.
“Working with the most incredible Japanese cast and crew made this experience unforgettable.
“I learned so much, felt so challenged, and fell a little bit in love with acting along the way. I can’t wait for you to watch it and step into this world with us.”
Recently Nadiya appeared to find love again — dating West End star Ian McIntosh.
Twenty months on from her acrimonious split with fellow dancer, Kai Widdrington, she has grown close to the Les Miserables actor.
In October, the couple were spotted enjoying a coffee date in London, but are understood to have quietly got together earlier this year after attending a gala together in March.
They were seen laughing together, sharing an embrace, while Nadiya later held Ian’s face in her hand.
While she follows Ian, currently starring as Jean Valjean in the Victor Hugo classic, on Instagram he does not follow anyone on his official account.
A source revealed: “Nadiya and Ian have a couple of mutual friends and were introduced — they hit it off immediately.
“They have attended a couple of red carpet events together and thought people might start noticing their relationship sooner.
Strictly fans stunned as they spot former professional dancer on show despite pulling out of this series
“They have loads in common and just have a lot of fun together — it is lovely to see. Everyone is very happy for them.”
