Inside The Factory’s future has been confirmed after Paddy McGuinness was drafted in as a replacement for Wallace on the popular show.

According to the TV Zone, Paddy, 52, has now cemented his place as the new co-host alongside Cherry Healey, 45, after stepping into Greg’s shoes in late 2024.

Filming is now reportedly set to begin in early 2026 on the latest season of the show that gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Britain’s factories.

Fans, however, won’t have to wait long to peek behind British factory doors again as a new season is also dropping in January.

The show’s updated BBC synopsis reads: ‘Paddy McGuinness and Cherry Healey hit factory floors across Britain for a snoop around their supersized production lines.’

Some of the factories featured on the programme include producers of sausage rolls, Jaffa Cakes and even mattresses.

Greg Wallace stepped down as a co-host of Inside the Factory following allegations of inappropriate behaviour on the Masterchef set.

These included claims that he made sexualised jokes and engaged in unwanted physical contact to women.

After 45 out of the 83 allegations were substantiated by an investigation, the disgraced presenter said that he was ‘deeply sorry for any distress’ caused.

He had previously fronted Inside the Factory for a cool nine years after its launch in 2015.

The former star notoriously claimed that those who had made the allegations were ‘middle-class women of a certain age’.

Ulrika Jonsson, one of the disgraced host’s accusers, said that this comment showed ‘the arrogance of a man who has zero introspection or self-awareness’, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Wallace later apologised for the remark and said that he was not in a good headspace when he made the comment.

He wrote on Instagram: ‘I wasn’t in a good head space when I posted it. I’ve been under a huge amount of stress, a lot of emotion, I felt very alone, under siege, yesterday, when I posted it.’

In an interview with Good Morning Britain about his departure from Inside the Factory, Greg denied any wrongdoing, and said the claims ‘weren’t accurate’.

He said of his TV departure: ‘I left. I have got a little boy called Sid who at the moment is non-verbal, he is still in nappies.

‘He has got learning difficulties, I am an ambassador now for Ambitious about Autism, mum needed help there.

‘There was an argument inside the factory, the reporting isn’t accurate. There was an issue, I thought that is the perfect time to come out. Offending people in the factory, no.”

He added: ‘There was an issue, I don’t want to discuss what the issue was but I thought that is a good time.’
