The Chicago Sky forward made a wild gaffe during Monday’s game against the Minnesota Lynx, contributing to a late first-half run that got them back into the contest.
While handling an easy inbound pass, Reese inexplicably passed the ball away from her teammate, resulting in a turnover and an immediate 3-pointer for the Lynx.
The Lynx were down as much as ten points with less than two minutes to play in the quarter.
After scoring and making it an 8-point game, Angel Reese took the ball out and, without looking, threw a careless, underhanded pass to no one. She could only point as the ball bounced straight to Williams, who passed to an open Bridget Carleton, who hit an open three.
After a Reese offensive foul on the other end, the Lynx scored one more basket to make it a four-point lead going into halftime. That momentum continued in the second half as the Lynx won the next two quarters and the game.

In addition to leading the WNBA in rebounding by a wide margin, Reese also leads the league in turnovers with 3.8 per game.

The 23-year-old LSU alum scored 22 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and a block in a 91-78 losing effort to the Lynx.
In her last nine games, Reese has averaged a double-double (18.1 points, 14.8 rebounds per game) and is playing arguably the best basketball of her career.
