Emmerdale star Danny Miller has shared a rare snap alongside his lookalike dad, who is also a showbiz legend.
Emmerdale stalwart Danny Miller has thrilled his followers by posting a snapshot with his doppelgänger father, Vince.
Danny, aged 34, first appeared on the ITV soap as Aaron Dingle in 2008. After a five-year run, he departed to explore new ventures, including a regular part in the crime drama Scott and Bailey.
In 2014, however, he decided to return to Emmerdale, only to take another hiatus seven years later. During this period, he joined the cast of I’m A Celebrity and emerged victorious.
In 2023, it was announced that Danny would once again portray Aaron. Off-screen, Danny Miller leads a more peaceful family life, far removed from the dramatic happenings of the Yorkshire Dales.
In the world of showbiz, Danny isn’t the only one making waves. His father, Vince Miller, is an entertainment powerhouse, reports the Mirror.

Fondly known as the ‘king of compere’, Vince, a comedian and singer, has established himself as the face of the VIP scene at Manchester United, ironically through Danny’s staunch support for rival team Liverpool FC.
At the age of 91, Vince can reflect on a glittering 65-year career in showbiz, during which he rubbed shoulders with stars like Johnny Mathis and Shirley Bassey and even delivered a moving tribute at comedian Bernard Manning’s funeral.
Vince made the decision to retire from his career in broadcasting, and in an interview with the Manchester Evening News at 82, he confidently stated: “I have no regrets about it. The time is now to retire while you’re on top. You don’t want people saying ‘not him again’.”
Danny, a father of three, took to Instagram to share a heartwarming snapshot of himself and Vince celebrating Christmas together.

One picture shows Danny with his arm affectionately draped around Vince, both seated before a twinkling Christmas tree. Another charming photo features Danny posing with two of his children and his dad, all beaming for the camera.
Danny captioned the post with a touching sentiment: “Christmas complete. Three generations of The Miller boys.”
The soap star’s post has been inundated with warm messages from fans and friends alike, including Emmerdale’s Billy Fletcher actor Jay Kontzle, who commented: “Beautiful mate, merry Christmas.”
Another follower shared: “Aww, precious time, lovely to see your dad smiling and happy”, while another added: “Heart melting.”
One fan observed, “This is so precious, you look so much like your dad, Danny”, and another agreed, “Danny, you have the same smile as your Dad. You can see the pride in his face, and you’re still his little boy.”
Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV And ITVX
