Christine Lampard shared a sweet detail about her relationship with Frank Lampardduring Tuesday’s Loose Women.
During Tuesday’s instalment of Loose Women, ITV audiences watched as Christine Lampard, Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards and Gloria Hunniford presented the show from their revamped studio.
Throughout the programme, the panel debated whether there’s a perfect approach to proposing, prompted by a surprising moment between two characters in last night’s much-awaited Corridale special (January 5).
Whilst the presenters discussed the soap storyline and shared their views on proposals, Christine emphasised the significance of the occasion before revealing details of her own engagement.
She remarked: “When Frank proposed, I felt nervous for him. Afterwards, I was like, Oh my, I could see the fear!”
Gloria enquired about the location of his proposal, with Christine disclosing that the pair were away on holiday when he asked for her hand in marriage, reports Belfast Live.

She continued: “We were in LA, but it was all very relaxed. You know I’m not all fireworks and that kind of stuff. It was just so lovely, we’d gone for a big long walk on the beach.
“I could see him getting more nervous and drinking more rosé than he should’ve been. I really appreciated it. What I loved was that he had spoken to my parents. Obviously, I didn’t know any of this! Then, he pops the question, but it was the shock element.”
Coleen asked whether she immediately accepted, with Christine confirming she did, whilst stressing how unforeseen the proposal had been.
The Loose Women presenter shared: “I was so shocked, but it was such a lovely thing, because I know everything, everything is discussed and I thought this was a lovely thing that he did completely on his own, I had nothing to do with it.”

Christine and Frank exchanged vows in 2015, after a six-year relationship. Following their wedding, the couple welcomed two children into their lives: Patricia in 2018 and their son, Freddie, three years on.
In another segment of the show, Brenda revealed details about her first Christmas with her undisclosed partner. She remarked: “I think with every relationship there’s firsts, but I seem to have been conquering them quite a lot. It’s only been a year, and there have been quite a few firsts.
“The holiday… that went really well, and it was only [after] four months of knowing them. I was just really happy that they agreed to come along. It was my birthday, I was like, ‘I want a lovely birthday present. I’m going away to Barbados, do you fancy coming?’”

Brenda disclosed that her partner had met her aunties and brother during the festive period, describing it as a ‘very big occasion’.
She continued: “He’s really sweet. He offered to chop up the vegetables and it was lovely. We were cooking together… I’m keeping him.”
Loose Women is available to watch on ITVX.
