Kelvin Fletcher has been supported by his fans after the Emmerdale star issued a family update online

Kelvin Fletcher has been showered with messages of admiration following a heartwarming family post on social media.

Former soap favourites Kelvin and Liz rank amongst Britain’s most beloved celebrity duos. Their story began as childhood friends at just eight years old, before romance blossomed when they reconnected in 2009.

Their relationship has flourished ever since, tying the knot in 2015 and expanding their brood to four children: Marnie, Milo and twins Mateusz and Maximus.

The family has captured hearts nationwide through their hit show Fletchers’ Family Farm, which follows Kelvin and Liz Fletcher’s journey raising their youngsters whilst transitioning from city life to running a sprawling 120-acre farm in the Peak District.

The couple regularly treat followers to glimpses of their daily adventures across social media platforms. Most recently, Kelvin warmed hearts when the proud father posted footage of daughter Marnie showing off her dance moves on Instagram, reports the Mirror.

Alongside the clip, he wrote: “When it’s just too good for the story alone… I could watch her all day.”

His followers were quick to praise the youngster’s impressive abilities, with several of his former soap colleagues joining the chorus of approval. Lisa Riley commented: “Honestly Kelvin she’s absolutely incredible-she has “it” that’s for sure.”

Claire Sweeney added: “She’s fabulous,’ whilst Catherine Tyldesley enthused: “She’s beyond talented love! AMAZING. You can’t buy that star quality- and she has truckloads.”

One admirer exclaimed: “Wow she has serious talent!” whilst another added: “Oh Kelvin she reduced me to tears with such a heartfelt performance. Marnie you are amazing sweetheart.”

In separate Kelvin updates, series four of Fletchers’ Family Farm is scheduled to broadcast later this month. During Monday evening’s repeat (February 2), Kelvin took to Instagram to reveal he was watching alongside viewers.

He posted footage showing himself settled on the settee with his parents as they watched ITV. As the programme was about to be introduced, the presenter said: “Oh what are they going to say? Let’s have a listen!”.

His enthusiasm was palpable as Fletchers’ Family Farm commenced, with him gasping and declaring: “Oh it still makes me proud! Come on!”.
