Bizarre reason Floyd Mayweather ‘refuses to let bodyguards travel on private jet’
Floyd Mayweather is set to make another return to the boxing ring.
Floyd Mayweather reportedly has a bizarre reason behind his decision to ask his bodyguards to travel on a separate private jet.
Mayweather, 49, is one of the greatest names in the history of boxing.
During his illustrious career, Mayweather never tasted defeat, having won all 50 bouts, with 27 coming via knockout.

The American legend held titles across five weight classes, including Super Featherweight, Lightweight, Light Welterweight, Welterweight and Light Middleweight.
He last fought in August 2024 against John Gotti III. A formal winner was not announced.
This week, it was announced that Mayweather would make another return to the ring, taking on old foe Manny Pacquiao.
The pair fought in 2017 with Mayweather winning, and are set to rematch at the Las Vegas Sphere in what will be the first-ever boxing bout at the venue.
Popular streaming platform Netflix will show the fight live.
On social media, a post read: “Two of the greatest icons in boxing history will meet again in the first-ever professional boxing match at Sphere in Las Vegas.”

Being one of the biggest names in the world of sports, it comes as no surprise that Mayweather often travels with a group of bodyguards.
Back in 2017, it was revealed by BBC boxing correspondent Mike Costello that Mayweather ‘refuses’ to let his bodyguards on the same private jet as him.
It was claimed that Mayweather would have a separate private jet just for his bodyguards.
Costello said: “They are huge, huge men – Men so big, by the way, that he won’t let them fly on his own private jet.
“He’s got a second jet, and he makes sure that the bodyguards fly on the second jet because he’s got this strange perception about flying.”
He added: “He believes that kind of bulk cannot be lifted by a smaller jet like that, so he has another jet specifically for his bodyguards.”
