David Muir has stunned viewers with a major revelation about former Pr3sident Dоnɑld Truмp health. What new details did the ABC anchor uncover, and how is the Truмp team responding? The unexpected announcement has everyone talking and raises urgent questions about what’s next.

ABC host David Muir has shared a significant update regarding Dоnɑld Truмp health, citing the White House’s acknowledgment that the Pr3sident suffers from a condition leading to blood accumulation in his leg veins.

During the latest episode of ABC World News Tonight, David addressed the wave of speculation surrounding Truмp physical state, fueled by images revealing swelling on his lower limbs and bruising on his hands.

The 51-year-old anchor introduced a segment by Mary Bruce, summarizing the Pr3sident’s physician’s comments concerning  Truмp health.

David reported the White House’s assertion that Truмp remains “in excellent health” despite the diagnosis. ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Mary then conveyed in her piece the “questions and concerns” about Truмp’s wellbeing following the circulation of images displaying his swellings and bruises.

Mary explained that the Pr3sident’s doctor has diagnosed Truмp with chronic venous insufficiency, described as a non-serious and frequently occurring ailment among those over 70 years old.

Dr. Darien Sutton, the ABC News Medical Correspondent, contributed to the coverage by offering an outline of the medical condition for the audience.

The White House Correspondent reported that while the condition isn’t considered severe, it can lead to pain. In a statement on air, Mary mentioned, “The White House hasn’t confirmed how the Pr3sident is being treated, but experts tell us that treatment typically includes medication to increase blood flow, elevating the legs or even minor surgical procedures if necessary.”

Closing the segment, David expressed his appreciation to his fellow reporter for her report providing insight into the Pr3sident’s health status..

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed on Thursday that Truмp had been examined medically after experiencing “mild swelling” in his lower legs.

She clarified that he was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, which happens when the tiny valves within the veins that usually help circulate blood upward slowly become defective.

Addressing the prominent bruising visible on Truмp’s hand in recent photographs, albeit somewhat concealed by mismatched makeup, Karoline stated that it was “consistent” with repercussions from frequent handshaking and aspirin usage.

Truмp relies on aspirin as a preventative measure against heart attack and stroke risks.

In her press briefing, she made clear that revealing Truмp’s medical evaluation aims to quash the rampant conjecture about the 79-year-old Pr3sident’s health.

However, the disclosure was particularly noteworthy as the Republican Pr3sident has traditionally hidden details of his health.

In April, Truмp underwent a thorough physical examination involving more than a dozen medical experts.

The White House released a three-page report at that time which did not mention chronic venous insufficiency.

Truмp’s physician, Sean Barbabella, concluded then that the Pr3sident exhibited full range of motion in his joints and muscles, with normal blood circulation and no signs of swelling.

Karoline did not specify when Truмp first observed swelling in his lower legs.

She mentioned that as part of the Pr3sident’s regular health care and due to an “abundance of caution,” he received a “comprehensive exam” that encompassed vascular assessments, lower extremity evaluations and ultrasound tests.

She pointed out that although chronic venous insufficiency is typically a mild and common issue, the examinations showed no indications of deep vein thrombosis – a more severe condition characterized by blood clots in the body’s deep veins, often in the legs.

Citing a letter from Dr. Barbabella, Karoline confirmed there was no sign of arterial disease.

Karoline revealed that the disclosed examination on Thursday included additional tests which detected no evidence of heart failure, kidney problems, or any systemic illnesses affecting Truмp.

“The Pr3sident remains in excellent health, which I think all of you witness on a daily basis here,” she asserted to the press.
