Piers Morgan paid a heartbreaking tribute on Christmas Day to his close friend following their d3ath from an agressive form of brain cancer. The 60 year old paid tribute to his close friend of 45 years after his tragic d3ath last year. The Uncensored presenter went to visit his friend’s grave on Christmas morning as he made a heartbreaking end of life admission. The TV star said as he walked through the cemetary he saw the headstones of so many loved ones he has lost over the years as he admittedly pondered on his own mortality.
The outspoken host said “we all have a ticking clock” as he made a sad admission. Taking to Instagram today, the dad-of-four shared an image of his friend Miles Edward Caldwell, who d!ed aged 57 following a brain tumour last year. Piers was swiftly flooded with messages of support as he penned a heartbreaking message.
Piers began: “Merry Christmas everyone.

“I just took my late, great mate Miles a Montecristo so he can be with me in spirit later. He used to love a festive cigar in his pre-stent/vaping days.
It’s a crisp, sunny, beautiful day in the village, and as I walked around the churchyard, I saw the graves of so many old friends and villagers. People I went to school with, partied with, played cricket with, or just saw in the pub or village store from time to time.”
Addressing his own mortality, he went on: “A timely reminder that we only get one go at life, and we all have a ticking clock.
“Miles, until he was suddenly stricken with incurable brain cancer two years ago aged just 57, was a glass very full guy who loved nothing better than having a laugh with family and friends, especially at this time of year.
He’d have been despairing at the Ashes debacle, and Liverpool’s current woes, and even more so by Arsenal being top of the League!”
Piers concluded: “But he would take solace by eating, drinking and being merry. So let’s take his lead and have a wonderful day with those we care about and who care about us, and toast the memories of those sadly no longer here to join us.”
