The mum-of-three, 29, has signed up for the UK vs Australia version of the show, which sees the Brits takes on the Aussies in a gruelling series, which kicks off on January 4 on Channel 4.

In a trailer for the new programme in which a group of famous faces from Down Under pit their wits against British celebrities, including rugby star Ben Cohen and reality star, Dani, the mum-of-three looks dazed as she gets ready to abseil off a cliff before being seen sobbing, for reasons yet unknown.

Filmed in North Africa, the nervous recruits, lead by Chief Instructor, Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham and his team of directing staff, are stripped of their identities as they are told to forget all about their luxury lifestyles.

Dani, who is married to multi-millionaire footballer, Jarrod Bowen, revealed she had signed up for the reality show in June before being forced to quit Strictly Come Dancing in September with a foot injury.

Speaking about taking part in the extreme series, she admitted she was “nuts”, but insisted she really wanted to do it, sharing: “I’m a massive fan of the show. I’ve always watched it and wondered if I could do it.

“I want to put myself to the test. I’m nuts, but I think I will be good at it. I’ll be completely out of my comfort zone. I just hope that I will be able to stop listening to the voices in my head and just get to the end because that would make me so proud.”

Admitting she would struggle mentally because her ‘brain attacks her’, she continued: “I think physically I’ve got this. Mentally is what I’ll struggle with as my brain attacks me all the bloody time.

“I just want to believe in myself a little bit more and stop being a negative Nancy.”

Elsewhere in the trailer, one of the celebrities appears to have an embarrassing accident in front of the no-nonsense staff after a puddle of water is seen at their feet during the induction line-up.

The plucky stars signed up for the show are Love Islander Gabby Allen, 33, social media stars, Jack Joseph, 25, and Cole Anderson-James, 28, rugby player Ben Cohen, 46, Gladiator and Olympian, Toby Olubi, 37, and cricketer Graeme Swann, 46.

Meanwhile, the Aussie team is made up of Married At First Sight Australia star Jessika Power, 33, and Neighbours stars, Ryan Moloney, 45, and Natalie Bassingthwaite, 50.

Cricketer Brad Hodge, 50, will also join Olympic swimmers, Emily Seebohm, 33, and Mack Horton 29 as the group buckles up for some serious competition.
