Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford announced over the weekend they were calling time on their marriage
Eamonn Holmes has thanked GB News viewers for their support following the announcement of his divorce.
It was revealed last week that Eamonn and Ruth Langsford were calling time on their 14-year marriage.
“Before we move on, I would just like to thank people for their support for Ruth and I over the past few days”, he said on GB News.
“Your support, from both of us, is very much appreciated.”
The pair confirmed their split through a representative, who said: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”
Together, they presented ITV daytime chat show This Morning for 15 years before quitting the show in 2021.
They also presented Channel 5 programmes such as Do The Right Thing With Eamonn And Ruth, and made multiple appearances on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox.
They have one son, Jack, who was born in 2002.

Eamonn also has three children, Declan, Rebecca and Niall, from his first marriage.
The GB News star became an OBE in the 2018 New Year Honours for services to broadcasting.
Eamonn now presents on The People’s Channel after joining in 2021.
