Meghan Markle has reportedly deleted her father, Thomas Markle’s, phone number and has not made any plans to visit him. The 44-year-old has not been on speaking terms with her dad, who is recovering from a leg amputation in a hospital in the Philippines, since 2018.

This comes after it was reported earlier this week that Meghan had sent a letter to be hand-delivered to her dad at the hospital. It is understood that Meghan’s letter expressed her feelings regarding his decision to give several interviews to the media about their relationship, with the hope that the letter would remain private.

She is said to have refrained from directly contacting him at the hospital, as she fears that a phone call would be overheard, according to the Sunday Times. At the time of writing, it is understood that Meghan has not had a reply to her letter, nor any contact with her dad, since it was delivered.

Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes are known to be close to their mother, however, they will not be spending the big day with Queen Camilla and King Charles.

Tom told the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden Confidential: “I’m not [spending Christmas at Sandringham]. Nor is my sister. It’ll be every other year, one year on, one year off.”

Major Christmas ‘snub’ that made Meghan and Harry realise they needed ‘their own path’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were reportedly left “furious” by the late Queen Elizabeth II following her third-to-last annual Christmas speech. During her festive address in 2019, the late Queen was seen surrounded by a number of family photographs – with one of the Sussexes and their son evidently missing.

The Sussexes were allegedly “tipped over the edge” after being snubbed from the array of family portraits.

In their book, Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand claimed Meghan and Harry believed the Royal Family was “conspiring against them” with the move.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s new home ‘is empty run down farm which needs refurb’

The sprawling but dilapidated Marsh Farm is located around seven miles west of King Charles’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

A no-fly zone over the Sandringham estate has recently been extended to include the area above the former farm.

It is understood Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor will move to Marsh Farm following his agreeing to give up the lease on his current home, Royal Lodge, in Windsor.

More news now of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie who are reportedly torn over whether to attend the Royal Family’s Christmas celebration (see post at 11.43am below).

King Charles has reportedly invited them to Sandringham for Christmas, but a source has claimed they are stuck between their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was stripped of his royal titles, and the monarch.

A source has told the Mail: “Overall, it falls to the princesses to soothe family divisions. They are struggling with Christmas.”

King Charles and Queen Camilla issue heartfelt message to victims of Bondi Beach attack

King Charles has issued a heartfelt statement to the victims of the shooting at Bondi Beach in Australia.

The King said in a statement: “My wife and I are appalled and saddened by the most dreadful antisemitic terrorist attack on Jewish people attending the Chanukah celebration at Bondi Beach.”

He thanked the emergency services and said the Australian people would rally together in the wake of the attack.

Meghan Markle will return to UK for ‘right price’ – but Princess Kate has a plan

A source has told Express.co.uk that Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, would return to the UK “for the right price”.

They said: “Meghan can be bought for the right figure. She will hold her tongue and dip lower in the curtsey to Kate.

“But she’s premeditated and in it for her children’s future – nothing beats royal status.”

However, the source also noted that Princess Kate isn’t a walkover.
