CHRISTINE Lampard has confirmed she has left a huge ITV daytime show after eight years.

The star presenter took to Instagram to share an emotional statement as she paid tribute to her colleagues on the programme.

Christine revealed that amid changes to ITV daytime’s schedules, she would no longer be hosting Lorraine.

The TV star had been one of Lorraine Kelly‘s deputy presenters on her self-titled morning show since 2017.

Christine, along with fellow deputy host Ranvir Singh, was regularly seen covering for Lorraine every Friday as well as during every school holiday.

She also regularly substituted at other times when Lorraine simply did not appear.

However, following ITV’s decision to reduce Lorraine’s broadcasting weeks from all year-round to just 30 weeks – Christine will no longer be needed on the show.

Confirming her exit, she said on Instagram: “After many years of being part of the @lorraine family it is now coming to an end.

“We’ve laughed, lunched and learnt so much from one another. Colleagues who have become the best of friends.

“As many of the team enter a new world in 2026, I want to thank every single person.”

She concluded her statement by saying: “I love you all! It has been the best of times.”

The news of her exit was met with immense sadness amongst her followers with many insisting she should take over the show full-time.

One of her followers said: “Nooooo, you need to take over that show x.”

Another added: “You will be a miss..all the best for the new opportunities.”

As a third wrote: “Nooooo ! You’ll be greatly missed Christine !!!!!”

Christine often appeared in just as many episodes as main host Lorraine Kelly with her being a staple of the show since 2017.

From next week, Lorraine will broadcast for just 30 minutes of day as well as going off-air for lengthy seasonal breaks throughout the year.
