VIEWERS of The Traitors were left heartbroken as faithful Jade made a heartbreaking confession on the show.

The players on the BBC game show came together for a group dinner party in which they all discussed what they would do if they won the prize money.

It was a heartwarming moment as the players shared personal stories that left many of those at the dinner party tearing up.

Among some of the things they planned to do included James treating his family to a holiday, Matty planning a wedding to partner Jason as well as Faraaz taking his family to Mecca to complete the Islamic Hajj pilgrimage.

When it came to Jade’s time to share what she would do, she revealed she would like to purchase a property of her own after a difficult few years.

Revealing something highly personal, she confirmed that both her mother and her sibling had been found dead in 2018 after they moved back to Hong Kong.

Jade said to the table: “My parents got divorced when I was seven.

“My mum moved back to Hong Kong and she had a kid and then…”

Jade began to get emotional as she struggled to get her words out.

She said: “In 2018, they were both found dead.

“I’ve had to really rebuild myself from that point onwards.”

The Daily Mail have since confirmed that her mother and sibling were discovered in a murder-suicide in their home in Hong Kong.

According to the publication, they were discovered on the bed of Jade’s mum’s apartment in each other’s arms.

Officers who discovered them found a suicide note at the scene.

Jade’s mum, Maggie Fung, was understood to have recently split from her boyfriend before her death with it being suspected that she was overwhelmed by the shock of the split.

A domestic worker raised the alarm after failing to get a hold of Jade’s mother.

Jade went on to say of her mum on the show: “I was always very close with her so it was a shock to the system.

“Our parents form a big core of our identity.”

Her heartbreaking confession left her co-stars, including Stephen and Roxy in tears, as well as viewers watching along at home.

Commenting on the tragic nature of Jade’s story, one viewer said: “Jade’s story is generally heartbreaking.”

Another penned: “Jade is such a force of nature and a beautifully strong person. If any of the faithfuls win i hope it’s her.”

A third wrote: “She was only 25 when this was filmed so only 17/18 when that happened too. How horrible.”

Before a fourth stated: “Jade that’s really sad.

“Cry girl, we’ll wipe your tears for you babe.”

Jade has found herself under scrutiny at most round tables and has often had to defend herself from speculation.

During the latest episode, Jessie was revealed to be murdered whilst Ellie was banished from the group.
