Katie Price has reportedly been warned that she could face being asked to leave her £4,500-a-month luxury rental if history begins to repeat itself.

The Daily Mail can reveal neighbours have already expressed their concern the former model, 47, is already turning the new-build into an eye-sore

Neighbours have raised concerns that the former glamour model’s swanky new home could risk turning into another infamous “Mucky Mansion” after rubbish was allegedly seen piling up outside the property.

The 47-year-old mother of five has only been living in the newly converted barn near Horsham, West Sussex, for a matter of months, following a brief stay at another rental property. But residents in the area are already said to be uneasy.

Locals told the Daily Mail they fear the high-end new-build could quickly become an eyesore if standards slip. One source claimed:
“Katie needs to be careful. She doesn’t own this property, and the owners won’t tolerate any mess. People are worried piles of rubbish could attract rats, which then becomes a problem for everyone nearby. She can’t treat the outside land like a dumping ground.”

On Wednesday, aerial images of the three-bedroom home appeared to show bin bags, debris and discarded items scattered around the exterior and at the rear of the property, sparking alarm among neighbours. However, just 24 hours later, new photographs suggested the rubbish had been cleared away.

The countryside property, which includes its own equestrian facilities, is believed to be owned by a syndicate of developers — Mark Hogan, Gary Hall and Andrew Allen — who jointly run a firm called Brasii Manco (Lodge Farm) Ltd. According to residents, the company has a strong reputation for transforming derelict farm buildings into upmarket homes.

One neighbour said: “They’re known locally for renovating rural buildings into high-end properties, and they do it very well by all accounts.”

Despite the concerns, some villagers insist Katie has so far made a good impression. An elderly resident commented: “I’ve seen her around the village and she seems friendly enough. As long as she fits into the way of life here, I’m sure she’ll be welcome. I do think some people are just waiting for her to put a foot wrong.”

The warning comes less than two years after Katie was forced to sell her original Sussex home — widely dubbed the “Mucky Mansion” — after being evicted due to financial difficulties and declaring bankruptcy for a second time in March 2024. She had hoped to redevelop the property as part of a TV makeover series, but it was eventually sold for around £1.15 million, less than the £1.35 million she paid for it in 2014.

Katie did not receive any proceeds from the sale, as the money was absorbed by her outstanding debts. Speaking about the property after moving out, she admitted: “I’ve had nothing but bad memories in that house,” insisting the move marked a fresh start.

The former Loose Women star has also been making headlines for her personal life. Last week, it emerged she had split from boyfriend JJ Slater after nearly two years together, ending the relationship after deciding she could not see a future with him. Insiders claimed the cracks had become “too obvious to ignore,” despite her public insistence they were still going strong.

Katie later appeared to reference the breakup by sharing a series of cryptic quotes and poems about love, soulmates and “divine signs” on her Instagram Stories.

For now, neighbours are watching closely — hoping her latest move really does signal a new chapter, rather than the start of another familiar saga.
