Sarah Ferguson linked to new Jeffrey Epstein files as emails emerge

Fresh allegations have been made about the former Duchess of York

Sarah Ferguson has been linked to the newly-released files relating to Jeffrey Epstein and his crimes.

Three million files relating to late convicted sex offender Epstein and his crimes were released by the US Department of Justice on Friday.

Within the files, photographs appearing to show Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor kneeling on all fours over an unidentified woman lying on the ground were released. Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing.

Now, it’s his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who has been linked to the files. It’s brought renewed scrutiny against the former Duchess of York.

Sarah Ferguson mentioned in Jeffrey Epstein files

Over the years, Ferguson has faced her own Epstein controversies. Last September, an email from 2011 revealed that she called Epstein a “supreme friend”. She reportedly sent it just weeks after vowing publicly to cut ties with him.

A spokesperson for the former duchess said that the email was sent under duress. They said: “Like many people, she was taken in by his lies. As soon as she was aware of the full extent of the allegations against him, she cut off contact and condemned him publicly, to the extent that he then threatened to sue her for defamation for associating him with paedophilia.

“She does not shrink back from anything she said then. This email was sent in the context of advice the duchess was given to try to assuage Epstein and his threats.”

As a result of the email emerging last year, several charities cut ties with Ferguson.

But now scrutiny is mounting once again following the new release of more Epstein files. Here’s the latest documents with mentions of Ferguson as well as her and Andrew’s daughters.

Princess Eugenie’s love life mentioned

In emails released in the latest batch of Epstein files, Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, are seemingly mentioned, according to reports.

As reported by the BBC, one email from Epstein to a redacted address reads: “ny?” [Sic].

It was reportedly sent on March 21, 2010.

The reply, also from a redacted address, says: “Not sure yet. Just waiting for Eugenie to come back from a shagging weekend!!”

No other context has been provided in the file. As the email address is redacted, it’s unclear to confirm if Ferguson wrote this email.

‘Just marry me’

Elsewhere in the files, Ferguson seems very complimentary of Epstein.

According to the BBC, Ferguson updates Epstein on potential opportunities for her business brands and books in one email exchange dated 2009.

She allegedly writes: “In just one week, after your lunch, it seems the energy has lifted. I have never been more touched by a friends [sic] kindness than your compliment to me infront of my girls.

“Thank you Jeffrey for being the brother I have always wished for.”

Then, in 2010, another email from “Sarah” to Epstein allegedly reads: “You are a legend. I really don’t have the words to describe, my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness.

“Xx I am at your service. Just marry me.” [Sic].

Ferguson’s request for ‘£20,000 for rent’

In 2009, Ferguson allegedly wrote to Epstein in need of £20,000 for rent.

An email reportedly reads: “I urgently need 20,000 pounds ($27,521) for rent today. The landlord has threatened to go to the newspapers if I don’t pay. Any brainwaves?”

According to reports, the email exchange began between Epstein and lawyer and former commissioner of the National Basketball Association in the US, David Stern. Stern reportedly shared a copy of an ABC article questioning Ferguson’s finances and whether they were in “jeopardy”.

In the exchange, Epstein reportedly suggests the leak could have come from “disgruntled investors”. Ferguson then allegedly replies, saying an investor had “broken a confidentiality agreement”.

The email chain appears to end once she explains that she needs money for rent, reports state.

Ferguson’s ‘lunch’ with Epstein and daughters

Elsewhere, other emails appear to reveal a lunch took place between Epstein, Ferguson and her daughters in July 2009.

As reported by the BBC, Epstein sent an email to a “ferg” address asking: “where are you? ..” [Sic]

Under an hour and a half later, a reply from a contact listed as “Sarah” reads: “In Miami. What number shall I call you on now.” [Sic].

The email goes on to say that she stayed at “Phillip Levine house with the girls”. The email also reads: “I am aiming to get to you for 12:30 for lunch. Does that suit?”

She also confirms it would be “myself, Beatrice and Eugenie”.

Representatives for Ferguson have been contacted for comment. Representatives for Andrew were also contacted on the files.
