The Prince of Wales was asked about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor today.

Prince William was heckled again about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor during one of his engagements in Saudi Arabia today, just hours after he released a bombshell statement about his disgraced uncle. The Prince of Wales was on his way to MISK Sports City, Riyadh, where he went to meet young people using the football facilities and learn about how sport has improved their wellbeing.

In a video that’s surfaced online, a person, who appeared to be a broadcast journalist, can be heard asking: “Sir, to what extent do you think the Royal Family has done enough around the Andrew and Epstein issue?” It is not clear whether William heard the shout, but he paid no attention to it and carried on with the engagement. But aides to the prince stressed he had a job to do, and he was getting on and doing it.

He was previously heckled about Andrew last month, during his visit to Scotland alongside the Princess of Wales.

On Monday, ahead of William’s arrival in Saudi Arabia, Kensington Palace said the future King and his wife are “deeply concerned by the continuing revelations” that have emerged in the Epstein files.

In their first official statement on the scandal, William and Catherine added that their “thoughts remain with the victims”.

Speaking to journalists in Riyadh, their official spokesperson said: “I can confirm The Prince and Princess have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations. Their thoughts remain focused on the victims.”

It is understood that Wales’s statement came in a bid to ensure the focus remains on the heir’s trip this week, which is seen as his most challenging diplomatic trip yet.

William’s mission is thought to be firmly focused on his diplomatic role as a global statesman, despite Andrew’s bombshells.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’s statement came hours before King Charles made clear his “profound concern” at allegations relating to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s conduct regarding the scandal involving convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Buckingham Palace said it would “stand ready to support” Thames Valley Police if approached over claims involving the King’s brother.
