Strictly Come Dancing professional Alexis Warr has been supported by fans after she shared a sweet tribute to her husband

Strictly Come Dancing star Alexis Warr has paid tribute to her rarely seen husband.
The 25-year-old professional dancer, who joined the BBC programme this year alongside fellow newcomer Julian Caillon, shared the touching update on Instagram.
The American performer rose to prominence after winning the US dance competition So You Think You Can Dance in 2022, where she earned the title of “America’s Favourite Dancer”, making history as the first Ballroom and Latin dancer to claim victory.
Alexis has previously featured as a guest professional dancer and member of the dance troupe on the US version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, and has taken part in the programme’s US tour over the past three years.
Prior to this evening’s (November 1) Halloween special, Alexis posted a touching personal announcement on Instagram, reports Wales Online.

The dancer celebrated her husband, Jake Burton, successfully completing his dental school examinations.
Accompanying photographs of the pair posing in front of several iconic London landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and Big Ben, Alexis wrote: “Proud wifey posttt.
“My man passed his dental school boards!! Couldn’t be more grateful for his heart, his drive, and the way he supports and loves me through it all.”
Supporters swiftly flooded the comments section with messages of congratulations, with one follower commenting: “This is so lovely.”
Another remarked: “Congratulations Jake on your results, fantastic achievement,” whilst a third enthused: “Congratulations to your hubby!!!”

A fourth supporter commented: “Congratulations on your pass. Best wishes to you both,” whilst another added: “That’s amazing news.”
Alexis married her childhood sweetheart Jake in 2018, and recently posted a heartfelt birthday message to her husband on social media.
“Happy Birthday to my best friend and forever love. From high school sweethearts to nearly 7 years of marriage, life with you is my greatest gift,” she declared online.
On this year’s series of Strictly, Alexis is paired with YouTuber George Clarke. The couple have consistently wowed both judges and audiences with their spectacular performances.
This evening, they will deliver a spooky Cha Cha Cha to Charli XCX’s Brat anthem Apple.
