Strictly Come Dancing 2025 came to an end tonight

Strictly Come Dancing viewers suggested the results could be a “fix” despite the public vote deciding who would win.

Saturday marked the end of the 2025 Strictly Come Dancing series, which was also hosts Tess Dale and Claudia Winkleman’s last live show.

As the judging panel delivered their scores, fans at home issued complaints over the scores claiming it was apparent who the judges and BBC bosses were hoping would claim the Glitterball Trophy.

It came as Karen and professional partner Carlos took to the floor, delivering a striking routine choreographed to Red Right Hand by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

The judges displayed no reluctance, awarding four perfect tens for a flawless total of 40 – the evening’s highest mark.

George and Alexis subsequently took their turn and produced an impressive performance, though they narrowly missed perfection after receiving 9, 10, 10 and 10 for a combined score of 39, reports the Express.

Craig faced vocal disapproval from the studio audience after being the sole judge to withhold a perfect score.

Amber and Nikita then presented their Showdance to Rain On Me by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. Despite receiving glowing feedback from the judging panel, they were also limited to 39 after earning 9, 10, 10 and 10.

Supporters subsequently voiced their outrage, claiming the judges had a clear favourite. One disgruntled viewer declared: “It is disappointingly clear who the producers want to win.”

Another viewer declared: “The judges want Karen to win. It’s so obvious.” A third contributed: “It’s very clear to me that the producers and judges want Karen to win. Sureley there is a fix going on here? ?”

Nevertheless, others criticised the marking system directly, with one supporter penning: “I feel the #Strictly judges want Amber to win. I don’t think it’s fair for a person that has had professional dance training to be in the final of Strictly. I really wish George and Karen all the best.”

However, it is important to remember the judges’ scores do not count in the final and the winner is decided solely by the public vote.
