GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes snapped as the breakfast show’s iconic jingle started playing as he was trying to tell a story telling them to shut it down so he could continue. As the breakfast show returned from a break for the weather, the 65-year-old started chatting to co-host Ellie Costello telling her: “So I was on my way home last night and I was going through a park and the…”
However he was abruptly stopped when the show’s music started playing, as he raged: “Stop playing that music please!” as he raised his hand. “I meant to say well she’s not going to play that music but she did play that music so there we go,” he said before taking a pause. He then proceeded to have a discussion about mist with Ellie picking up where he left off telling her: “One side of the road was covered in mist like Hounds of The Baskervilles type thing. And the other side isn’t and I just tried – this is my brain right – so I’m thinking this is to do with the sun. It’s heated up the ground and it’s now six o’clock in the evening and it’s cold,” he said.
“I don’t think you’re wrong actually,” Ellie responded. “Mist forms when invisible water vapour in air cools and condenses into invisible water droplets.”
“It is the same thing as fog she continued. The only difference is the vbisiblilty. So mist is you get a bit more visibilty. Fog is blackout.”
“It’s very interesting,” Eamonn said. “And a lot of it about last night and a lot of it about his morning as well.”
He then relented telling the gallery: “So there you go. And roll the music here we go,” as the show returned to it’s normal schedule.

His oputburst comes just over a week after Eamonn and girlfriend Katie Alexander were seen together on the red carpet at the Icon Awards, as Katie was seen tenderly placing her hand upon his back.
The GB News host was smiling as he appeared in excellent spirits at the glamorous ceremony, which took place in east London.
It marked the first occasion that Eamonn and Katie , who is 22 years younger, were spotted publicly together since reports surfaced that the “honeymoon” period of their romance had drawn to a close.
Sources suggested the extravagant getaways and costly gifts are failing to provide the necessary spark to revitalise their relationship, with Eamonn now allegedly spending more time in Belfast alongside his family – minus Katie.
