Emmerdale enthusiasts were thrilled when a beloved cast member from the popular ITV drama shared a heartwarming family announcement on Boxing Day.

Amy Walsh, known for her portrayal of Tracy Metcalfe in the long-running soap, revealed back in September that she and EastEnders star Toby-Alexander Smith were expecting their second baby together.

On Boxing Day, the 38 year old actress took to Instagram with a sweet video captioned: “New addition to the family incoming!”

The footage shows Amy and Toby’s daughter Bonnie sat on the staircase alongside her boy cousins. Text overlay reads: “When it’s your last Christmas before becoming a big sister… will I still be the only girl in the family?”

The answer comes in the form of their gender reveal moment, captured as a football is struck, releasing pink powder into the air whilst the family erupts in celebration. The caption declares: “Girl power coming in 2026.”
