The ITV show has been hit with hundreds of complaints to broadcasting regulator Ofcom following recent episodes

Love Island: All Stars has sparked more than 500 complaints to Ofcom in recent days.

The popular ITV2 dating show, which brings back former contestants to the villa for another shot at romance, has been gracing screens for several weeks now.

However, data released by the broadcasting watchdog has shown that following the episode broadcast on Friday 23rd January, 496 viewers lodged complaints, with a further 92 grievances received by the organisation on 26th January.

Regarding the first episode, an Ofcom spokesperson confirmed to The Mirror: “The majority of complaints related to alleged bullying of Whitney by Shaq and Jess.”

For the 26th January episode, the spokesperson added: “The majority of complaints related to Scott’s behaviour towards other islanders, including alleged bullying of Sean.”

Earlier this week, a heated confrontation exploded in the villa as Scott lashed out at Sean: “The behaviour you have had towards Shaq is snakey. I feel like you use the ‘Sean let me feel sorry for you’ card and get the grace that he doesn’t get.

“When I came in and said something to you after what I’d seen as a viewer and the first few days I thought maybe I actually got it wrong, but I think I actually got it right and you’ve not grown as a person.”

At this moment, Sean was close to tears as he responded: “Look Scott, you’ve had your moment, you’ve smashed it mate.”

Sean accused Scott of having a grudge against him “since day one” in the villa, stating: “You had your moment when you first came in, you humiliated me and when everyone else has come through the door you’ve been like ‘we’re good mates now’… we’re not mates.

“I don’t know you, you’re not my mate.”

Tommy then defended his fellow Islander, asserting: “That shows a man, not a snake,” while Sean labelled Scott as a “bully”.

Viewers anticipated the drama would cause a stir, with one commenting on X: “OMG I just know Ofcom is going to be red hot tonight.”

Another remarked: “Ofcom blowing up rn”, while others expressed sympathy for Sean.

One viewer predicted: “Tuning to see the episode that could have Love Island potentially finished by the number of Ofcom complaints due to come after tonight.”

Another fan pointed out: “There’s a difference between getting someone to take accountability and bullying. And Scott is a bully!”

However, another defended Scott, insisting: “Scott is not childish!”

When the series premiered, it reportedly attracted only 490,000 viewers, marking an all-time low for the franchise.

SUPERTV commented on X: “RATINGS! #LoveIslandAllStars returned last night after a 3 day delay, which seems to have hurt the show even more as it launched to one of its lowest ratings OF ALL TIME.

“Just 490k viewers. This is HALF the number of viewers who watched in summer#LoveIsland.”

The post also drew attention to the viewership figures from previous years, with series five attracting a record-breaking 3.3 million viewers, while last year’s figure was around one million, indicating that the audience has halved.

However, an ITV spokesperson told The Mirror: “Just to remind you those numbers aren’t inclusive of ITVX. The overnight figures aren’t inclusive of engagement on that platform, or in You Tube, where it is also available to watch.”

They added: “And for context to date we have had over 2 billion streams for the series on ITVX, so it’s very much not representative of the bigger picture.”

Love Island: All Stars continues on ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm

The Bravo family is mourning the loss of one of their own.

Lauren Miller, a Real Housewives of New York City and Salt Lake City executive, died on June 9, moments after giving birth to her and her husband

Kevin Miller’s son Jackson.

“It is with devastated hearts that we share that our beloved colleague, Lauren, died unexpectedly just moments after giving birth to her baby boy,” Shed Media—which produces several Bravo shows—captioned an Instagram tribute post June 12 alongside photos of Lauren, who is also mom to 3-year-old daughter

Emma, and her family. “Of all the things Lauren loved most, being a mother was at the top and ensuring that her children are being taken care of would mean everything to her.”

Three days after Lauren’s tragic passing, her colleague Sherri Pender shared an update on Kevin’s behalf about how their infant son has been doing.

“Kevin is delighted to share that baby Jackson is out of the NICU and at home with his dad and sister,” she wrote on GoFundMe June 12. “He has been an angel and has eaten and slept like a champ. He is so alert and attentive already at just 4 days old.”

But even though the couple’s newborn is healthy and safe at home with his family, Sherri couldn’t help but grieve the life that her dear friend had imagined for herself and her husband.

“This unimaginable loss is impossible to comprehend and the hole that Lauren has left in this world and in her own family, is an impossible one to ever fill,” she shared. “We are devastated for her beloved husband, Kevin, who must now unexpectedly take on the sole role of parenting their two children.”

“That the day Lauren was so eagerly awaiting should end in tragedy is truly unfathomable,” she continued. “It was no secret how close she was to her entire family or how excited she was when she got to start her own. From getting engaged to Kevin and then getting married to becoming a mother with Emma and next with Jackson, Lauren beamed whenever she talked about all that she had with her beautiful family.”

And while Sherri went on to detail the effect that Lauren’s “warm smile, kind heart and thoughtful, intuitive nature” had on every single person she encountered, Kevin expressed his own heartbreak with an emotional comment underneath Shed Media’s announcement.

“Lauren is the love of my life and I was blessed by God that she chose to spend her life with me and give me two beautiful children to remember her every minute of everyday,” he wrote on Instagram. “Please pray for our family and thank you all for the prayers, kind words and thoughts.”
