Loose Women‘s Nadia Sawalha was left open-mouthed after a withering blow about her sex life from her co-star Frankie Bridge, discussed during Wednesday’s episode of the ITV show.

The 61-year-old returned to the panel alongside Christine Lampard, 47, Gloria Hunniford, 85, and Penny Lancaster, 54, to chat about the latest news and headlines.

The ladies got chatting about how Bake Off favourite Prue Leith, 86, recently confessed she’s added spice to her sex life with the help of testosterone gel.

This led them on to talk about if there is a stigma about talking about intimacy as you get older.

Nadia said: ‘It’s that thing where they don’t want to think of people over a certain age having sex… Frankie Bridge did this to me in the meeting!

‘I don’t know if you were on that show. I was talking about sex and I just turned around and she was like this, she was just looking at me like that.

Nadia said: ‘It’s that thing where they don’t want to think of people over a certain age having sex… Frankie Bridge (pictured) did this to me in the meeting!’

‘I thought “God are you alright?” It was like she was going to pass out.’

She continued: ‘She said, “Are you still having sex?!”

Penny chimed in: ‘Well she’s heard that rumour that when you hit menopause, it’s all over… But it’s not!’

Nadia replied: ‘Yeah! I was so… [open-mouthed] I haven’t got over it! Out of all the meetings I’ve ever had on Loose Women, I just couldn’t believe that.

‘Because I was in that place once as a little Loose Women, when I was looking at older Loose Women going “Oh my god, they are having sex!”

‘Yet here I am!’

Nadia married TV producer Mark Adderley in London back in 2002.

The pair share two daughters Maddie, 22 and Kiki-Bee, 19.

It’s not the first time that Nadia has spoken about her sex life on the show.

Back in 2016 the panel were discussing if every relationship loses its sizzle.

The star confessed that she ended up having sex with him before their first date.

Telling the panel, Nadia recalled: ‘A few weeks later we were filming together on one particular location and he said, “Shall we go to the bar’ and I said, “Shall we just go straight upstairs because it’s going to be really embarrassing when I say can we go upstairs later”.

‘I don’t know what overcame me, I am not that sort of person!’

Kaye Adams chimed in: ‘Oh yes you are!’

Nadia continued: ‘And then we were pregnant, well he wasn’t, I was pregnant, and married six months later!

‘We’ve been together 14 years.’

Nadia is very open about her relationship and loves to discuss it on social media and the show.

Last month she confessed that she and Mark have nearly divorced many times since marrying 23 years ago.

‘We’ve been close to divorce many, many, many times. We’ve been to marriage guidance counsellors, we’ve worked our a***s really to stay together,’ she said on her and Mark’s podcast series Coffee Moaning.
