Lorraine Kelly has posted a heartbreaking statement about her late co-star, who di3d two years ago. The Scottish TV presenter took to social media to express her sadness over Hannah, who di3d aged 33 from cancer just months after giving birth. Hannah Hawkins, who was a digital producer for ITV, was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time while pregnant with her son, Rory. She tragically lost her life in 2023. Marking two years since her d3ath, Lorraine shared a heartbreaking image of Hannah with her newborn son whilst she was battling cancer. She added the caption: “This was two years ago today – our fantastic, vibrant, talented producer Hannah with her baby boy Rory – a week later she was no longer with us.

“Taken far too soon. A vital part of our #changeandcheck campaign So missed by all who loved her especially her lovely husband @tom.hawkins0411 Seize the day! #breastcancer #love #family #mother #brave.”

Ranvir Singh also posted in the comments section: “Still unimaginably unjust.” Another follower also said: “God love her, taken far too soon.”

A third also chimed in: “Oh dear Lord! Simply heartbreaking!”

Hannah’s husband, Tom, also left an emotional comment saying: “We miss her more and more every day.” [sic]

A fifth also typed: “What a beautiful photo and so heartbreaking to read. Thank you so much for the #checkandchange campaign, it’s so so important.”

Two years ago, Lorraine re-shared news of Hannah’s d3ath on Instagram after her husband shared a statement. It read: “Hannah Hawkins 11.12.89 – 3.11.23. For someone whose love language was gift giving, leaving us the day before my birthday was really not the one. I wish you’d kept the receipt.”

He continued: “There is no way I can pay tribute or sum you up in one post. In fact I could write an essay on how unfair this is. That you miss out on seeing Rory growing up, that he won’t be able to feel the love of his mum, and that this terrible illness took hold so quickly.

“But that’s not how you saw it. The remarkable person that you were, the phrase you used so many times over the last few weeks – and it set me off every time: “I’m so at peace with the life I’ve lived” is something we can all admire.”
