ZIA YUSUF: I’ll protect Christian heritage and secure our borders

The most sacred duty of any government is to protect its people. You’ve worked hard, paid your taxes, played by the rules. It’s the least you should expect.

Yet, the Tories betrayed you. They left our borders open and overwhelmed the country with mass immigration. Having promised to cut immigration to tens of thousands, they imported 12 million people in 14 years. Labour have made it worse.

If you vote for a Reform government, as Home Secretary I will secure our borders, deport those here illegally, and make you feel safe. My first priority will be to stop the invasion and secure our borders. Nearly 200,000 people have illegally arrived on our shores in the last eight years.

That’s more than stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. Reform will end this.

We will end all welfare for foreign nationals, and ensure those who enter illegally will be detained and deported.

Britain’s borders will mean something again. We will also implement our plan for mass deportations of illegal migrants already here. We will pass the Illegal Migration Mass Deportation Act and launch Operation Restoring Justice.

We will leave the ECHR, rapidly build detention capacity for 24,000 illegal migrants and ramp up deportation flights to five per day. A new agency, UK Deportation Command, will focus solely on identifying, detaining and deporting illegal migrants.

We will also avert the looming Boriswave fiscal disaster. The Tories imported three million migrants in three years, against the British people’s wishes.

The vast majority came on non-work visas. Many are about to be granted indefinite leave to remain (ILR) and lifetime access to welfare. This will cost British taxpayers hundreds of billions of pounds over their lifetimes. We will avert this fiscal disaster by replacing ILR with a renewable work visa and dedicated spouse route.

We will also get knives off our streets by granting the police far greater powers to use stop and search in knife-crime hotspots. You will no longer have to feel unsafe walking home.

Under Reform, our brave police officers will be freed up to spend their time detecting crime, investigating crime, and arresting criminals. No more dancing on social media. No more painting police cars with pride or trans flags. No more policing legal speech online. No more Diversity, Equity and Inclusion co-ordinators draining budgets.

I will take a zero-tolerance approach to Islamist extremism.

I will overhaul Prevent to ensure it focuses on real threats not social work, and immediately proscribe the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organisation.

We will protect British culture, because a nation without a culture is not a nation at all. It is just an economic zone.

We will preserve Britain’s Christian heritage and end the incendiary practice of converting churches into mosques or any other place of worship.
