Phoebe captioned her Instagram post: “Wow. What an incredible Strictly Come Dancing final last night. The love and joy strictly creates is something magical and I’m so lucky to have seen my mum work with the absolute best people.

“Last night was definitely an emotional one, but most importantly it was a celebration of the show and the 21 years mum has been doing it.

“Mum you are a true inspiration to me I will hold all these Strictly memories close to my heart forever. It’s been in my life since the day mum was pregnant with me so I don’t know life without Strictly and for that reason I will forever be the shows number one fan.”

Following the final Phoebe went on to attend the show’s wrap party with both her parents.

Former Lioness, Karen Carney and her pro dance partner Carlos Gu lifted the Glitterball trophy together after winning the public vote on Saturday night.

The result came after Queen Camilla celebrated Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman’s “final twirl” in a special message.

The royal superfan hailed the duo as the “greatest Strictly partnership of all” during the finale which was their last ever show.

Last month, Claudia and Tess got teary as they opened the first show since announcing they were quitting at the end of the series.

A source said: “Claudia and Tess have known they were leaving Strictly since last year. They felt like it was their time to go.

“They discussed this privately and agreed they would walk away together, but kept it firmly under wraps.

“Claudia and Tess then told the BBC they would be signing a one-year deal and then calling it quits.

“It’s incredible they’ve managed to keep it a secret for so long. Only the top brass at the BBC knew, along with their immediate family.

“Strictly has been an incredible journey for them both and they have loved every second.”
