SIR Keir Starmer has dismissed speculation on him being replaced — and wants a decade in power.

He told The Sun he still plans to serve two full terms as PM.

Asked if he still wanted to be at the helm after ten years, he said: “Yes, it’s ten years of national renewal and I always said it was a decade of national renewal.

“And I made it very clear in my conference speech how serious I am about patriotic national renewal, taking our country forward.”

The PM spoke to the Sun at the BAE factory in Preston after signing an £8billion deal to sell Typhoon jets to Turkey.

It comes despite Sir Keir’s personal approval ratings, while his party polls far behind Reform.

He also attacked Nigel Farage over his jets deal with Turkey.

He claimed the win was made through his commitment to Nato, blasting Reform as being too “Putin-friendly”.

Ramping up his attacks on Mr Farage, the PM said: “There is no way Nigel Farage and Reform could have won the order we won yesterday with Turkey.

“We only won that by being a leading member of NATO, whose central challenge is Ukraine.”

Mr Farage has recently insisted he would shoot down Russian jets in NATO airspace.
