MARRIED At First Sight UK star Davide Anica has taken a brutal swipe at his ex Keye Luke in an end of year post on social media.

The reality star hard launched his new romance with his partner on Boxing Day and has revealed he “chose peace” following his bitter split from his ex.

Sharing an Instagram reel of his 2025 highlights, he wrote: “2025 cracked me open. Not to destroy me, to show me what needed to go.”

Referencing the ending of his relationship, he continued: “I walked through heartbreak, public opinions, private battles and moments where I had to be my own safe place.

“There were days I didn’t recognise myself and nights I promised myself I’d never abandon me again.

“I stopped chasing versions of life that weren’t meant for me. I chose peace over proving. Truth over performance. Love over fear.

“And somehow, in the middle of letting go, I found love. The calm kind, the healthy kind, the “you don’t have to earn this” kind.”

The E4 star went on: “This year didn’t give me everything I wanted. It gave me everything I needed. Clarity. Confidence. A backbone. A heart that’s still soft.

“So if this year changed you… good. You weren’t meant to stay the same. New year. Same soul. Upgraded mindset. We move,” he signed off.

His followers rushed to the comments section to send him their well wishes for the new year.

One person commented: “One of the good guys. Wishing you nothing but love for 2026.”

Another penned: “Love all this for you and so much more happiness in 2026 x much love.”

Someone else enthused: “What a journey you have had, you have come a long way and now you have found a love who loves you for you.

“You deserve every bit of happiness, long may it continue. All the best for 2026, Happy New Year Davide.”

Last week, Davide took to Instagram to share a montage of videos and photos of him with his new man who goes by Nathaniel Painting on the social media app.

“All this love. No longer a mystery,” he captioned the post.

The montage showed them frolicking in the woods, dancing on a night out, at a golf driving range, being cute at a fun fair and even Nathaniel waiting patiently as Davide had his hair cut.

Davide and his now ex Keye were fan favourites on MAFS, but it all fell apart after the final vows when Davide found Keye on gay dating app Grindr while the pair were still together.

In a statement shared exclusively with The Sun, Davide said: “The night in question, I had a gut feeling something wasn’t right.

“Out of my own insecurity I created a profile on Grindr to check whether Keye was on the app only to find that my gut feeling was correct.

“That moment was painful and it made the trust between us break in a way I couldn’t move past. That’s why when it was broken, it was something I simply could not overcome.

“I won’t lie I was deeply hurt and shocked but with time, I’ve healed and found peace.”
