Kaye Adams made a sad announcement at the end of Friday’s Loose Women
A Loose Women host made an exit announcement on Friday (December 19) as their co-star went “off to pastures new”.
Today’s edition of the popular ITV show was hosted by Kaye Adams, and also featured Denise Welch, Katie Piper and Jane Moore as they delved into the day’s top stories.
At the end of the programme, Kaye announced that their producer, Helen Stuart, was leaving the show today.
“We also have to say a very, very fond farewell to our lovely producer, Helen, who is going off to pastures new. So, you take with us your love, Helen,” Kaye said.
Jane and Denise also shared their well-wishes, saying, “Good luck, Helen!”
This comes just days after another Loose Women producer, Eleanor Cotter, bid farewell to the show after 11 years amid several ITV changes.
Kaye announced the news on Wednesday (December 17), saying: “I might have a little cry today because our cherished producer, Elle, it’s her last day after 11 years. So, we’re going to say we love you, Elle,” with Nadia Sawalha adding: “We’re so sad.”
Later in the show, Kaye mentioned several other crew members who were leaving, including their floor manager, Katie Keates.
“I mentioned our lovely Elle, our producer, just before the break there, and it’s a few last days today in the studio, of course, because we’re moving studios,” the star explained.
“Katie, our lovely floor manager, who’s looked after us. We’ve known her since she was a girl. And lots of our crew, actually, as well, so thank you very much to all of you. They’re an amazing bunch of people, they really are.”

This comes after ITV announced a big change to its daytime programming earlier this year with Loose Women, Lorraine, This Morning and Good Morning Britain all affected by the decision.
From January 2026, the programmes will relocate to a new central London base and operate under a revised braodcasting schedule. The overhaul will see Loose Women return to its former 12.30pm to 1.30pm time slot on a 30-week “seasonal basis”.
The show will also be dropping its live studio audience, which means that comedian Lee Peart will no longer continue as the warm-up act – a position he has held since 2017.
Ahead of his departure, Lee appeared in front of the camera on today’s Loose Women as he hosted the competition segment, which is usually helmed by Jeff Brazier.
Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 12.30pm
