The BBC Breakfast star took a moment to detail some big changes happening for them this year.

Emma Vardy, known for her presenting role on BBC Breakfast, detailed what’s to come for her family this year as she reflected on her last year as a family of three.

The BBC star, who spoke about a small fire incident at her home in December, announced at the end of last year that she was expecting her second child.

In 2023, Emma and her partner welcomed their son Jago Fionn into the world, as she told her followers at the time they were ‘smitten and so in love.”

As the presenter is set to introduce another member into their family later this year, Emma highlighted the ‘guilt’ she has for her son.

The 44-year-old shared a series of images of herself with Jago over the year, along with the pair wearing matching festive pyjamas.

She captioned the post: “Starting off 2026 with the bittersweet feeling that 2025 was the last year that this little man will be our only one!!

“Very excited for a new little love in our lives, but also got that strange guilt knowing it’s all about to change for him.

“We’ve done so much in his two years on this planet and travelled a long way together. From Belfast, to LA, to Manchester. Now a big new chapter ahead. Happy New Year, everyone, and to all the 2026 mamas-to-be!!

However, it wasn’t long before people commented on the post, offering their support and words of encouragement.

One person wrote: “I felt exactly the same as you when I was expecting my second but you will adapt and spread your love between them. Exciting times ahead for you all.”

Another added: “Happy New Year, Emma. I’m sure you’ll embrace all your new challenges with a smile.”

Someone else commented: “Happy new year, little bears will be besties, new challenges but fun exciting times.”
