The BBC’s gripping thriller, The Night Manager, which had millions on tenterhooks a decade ago, is making a triumphant return. After an explosive finale that captivated over 10 million viewers in the UK alone, Tom Hiddleston is back at the helm of an all-star cast, reprising his role as former British intelligence operative, Jonathan Pine.
The Night Manager, based on characters crafted by John le Carré, follows MI6 officer Pine in a high-stakes race to uncover a conspiracy aimed at destabilising a nation. With treachery lurking around every corner, Pine must carefully choose who to trust and determine how far he’s willing to go before it’s too late.
Pine believed he’d left his past behind. Now living under the alias Alex Goodwin, a low-ranking MI6 officer overseeing a discreet surveillance unit in London, his life is pleasantly uneventful, reports the Mirror.

However, a chance encounter with an old Roper mercenary triggers a call to action, leading Pine into a violent confrontation with a new adversary: Colombian businessman Teddy Dos Santos.
In this dangerous new chapter, Pine crosses paths with Roxana Bolaños, a businesswoman who reluctantly assists him in infiltrating Teddy’s Colombian arms operation. Once in Colombia, Pine finds himself embroiled in a lethal plot involving arms and the training of a guerrilla army,
As alliances fracture, Pine finds himself in a race against time to uncover a conspiracy aimed at destabilising a nation. With treachery lurking around every corner, he must decide who to trust and how far he’s prepared to go before it’s too late….
