Fans of Good Morning Britain were left fuming on Friday after complaining of “bias”. The presenting panel had a change-up, with Ranvir Singh sitting alongside Kate Garraway to host the breakfast TV show.

The pair spoke about Robert Jenrick becoming a Reform UK MP after being brutally sacked by Tory leader Kemi Badenoch. Just hours after his dismissal, he appeared on stage with Nigel Farage, despite having very publicly attacked Reform and its leader in the past. Singh explained: “Whilst that’s happened, a recording of him has emerged, dismissing his new party leader, Farage, as, and I quote, ‘a man who couldn’t run a five-a-side team’. There’s some explaining to do there.”

Garraway then added another contradiction on Mr Jenrick’s part. She said: “Then, at an event to announce his defection, he declared: ‘I want Nigel to be prime minister.’

“But in that leaked audio from 2025, he says that Reform UK isn’t a serious party and Nigel Farage isn’t going to be able to run a party.” She then went on to ask if it was an “embarrassing stunt” from Mr Jenrick.

To back up their points, the ITV breakfast show played the audio of Mr Jenrick’s comments criticising Mr Farage, followed by a clip of him previously appearing on GMB to bash the party leader some more.

However, fans at home branded the presenters and the ITV show “biased”, as some even threatened to “switch off”.
