Coronation Street fans ‘rumble’ father of Megan’s baby and it’s ‘not Will’

Coronation Street fans think they have ‘rumbled’ that Megan Walsh is ‘lying’ about the father of her child as they claim Will Driscoll ‘isn’t the dad’.

Following her first appearance on the cobbles last year, it was quickly revealed that Megan had been carrying out an illicit affair with Will Driscoll, who has only just turned sixteen.

With Will’s family none the wiser, Megan was taken in by the Driscolls, who moved to the Street back in October when Ben purchased the Rovers Return for Eva Price, who were keen for Will to keep up his athletics training following their move from Hull.

In a bid to cover her tracks, Megan has struck up a romance with Daniel Osbourne, but she was recently left mortified when his son, Bertie, pulled out the test in front of Daniel, as well as Ken Barlow, Alya Nazir and Kirk Sutherland at No.1 during the child’s birthday gathering.

Megan was horrified by Daniel’s reaction and was sure that it meant he didn’t want to have a child with her. They ended up having a chat, in which Daniel explained to Megan about what he went through with his ex, Daisy Midgeley, and Megan continued to insist that the test was for a student at school and suggested they drop the issue.

But, her pregnancy was later confirmed as she was seen breaking down in tears to Eva and her sister, Leanne Battersby. She revealed she had decided to have an abortion, despite having polycystic ovaries which can make it difficult to conceive, meaning it could be her only chance to have a child.

Leanne later joined her at the abortion clinic and made it clear it wasn’t too later to change her mind. Megan still seemed insistent, but during Monday’s (January 19) episode of Corrie, she confirmed she didn’t go through with the procedure and was still pregnant. Meeting Will in the ginnel, who was worried about her, Megan told him she was pregnant with his baby and that it could be her only chance to be a mother.

When Will reminded Megan that they had used protection, she simply noted that “accidents happen,” and revealed her plans to leave. As the teen protested, Megan said: “Look, I’m going to be showing in a few months. People are going to find out. So, the beach, the wedding, the apartment, we can’t have any of that. I’m so sorry. I really wish we could.”

But Corrie fans aren’t convinced Will is the father and while many believe the baby will be Daniel’s, others think another boy could be in the picture after spoilers confirmed a newcomer to the storyline will appear in scenes this week.
