Strictly’s George Clarke sends three-word message after co-star ‘goodbye’

The YouTube star marked the end of his and his Strictly Come Dancing partner Alexis Warr’s partnership

George Clarke has been seen sending a three-word message to mark the end of his and his Strictly Come Dancing partner Alexis Warr’s partnership, days after finishing the show’s live tour.

Fans of the BBC One dance show will recall that the social media star reached the final of the competition alongside professional dancer Alexis, who only joined the pro line-up at the start of the 2025 series, last year.

George and Alexis were seen going up against Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin, and Karen Carney and Carlos Gu in the grand final in December, which also marked the last time Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman hosted the show after announcing their plans to step down at the end of the series.

While they missed out on llfting the Glitterball trophy to Strictly’s eventual winners, Lioness Karen and Carlos, George and Alexis have since had a second chance at winning, but this time on the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2026 tour.

The show, which is hosted by Janette Manrara and features the show’s judges, professional dancers, and stars from the 2025 series gives fans of the hit BBC One dance contest to get a closer glimpse at the standout performances seen on-screen, while also getting to choose a winner at each show.

Days before the 30-date tour came to an end, George and Alexiswere confirmed as the tour winners, despite George performing at fewer shows due to prior commitments.

Addressing the end of their partnership in a recent YouTube video, Alexis said: “So, I just had breakfast with George and Jules [fellow pro Julian Caillon] and said my final goodbye to Georgie. And oh, my heart is just so full. Also so sad. Just feeling all the emotions. And we won the tour, guys. That’s insane. I don’t know how to feel about that…”

Alexis continued: “I don’t really have many words. I just feel so grateful, honestly. I feel like I I keep saying that a lot, but truly, I don’t want those words to lose its value, if that makes sense. Because the depth of gratitude that I feel is so immense. And so I just keep saying it because that’s just how I feel.”

Now, the pair have been seen in Alexis’ latest vlog, as she and George sat down together to reflect on their experience for one last time. Sharing a glimpse of the video and a link to watch on his Instagram Story, he wrote to his thousands of followers: “Team Warrkey out,” as he added to the link: “Show her some love.”

As they came to the end of the video, George said: “In all honesty, all seriousness, it has been the most special time with you [Alexis] and thank you. It’s It’s been great. And we appreciate all y’all support as well.” Alexis continued: “So very much. Thank you guys.”

George then added: “You guys been cool as hell. Keep checking out this new vlogger, by the way. She’s going crazy on it.” Before Alexis added soon after to George: “I’m going to miss you.”
