Princess of Wales and Prince William outline their ‘deep concern’ in joint statement on Epstein files.
The newly disclosed files have drawn Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his former wife Sarah Ferguson further into the controversy
The Prince and Princess of Wales have issued a joint statement on the Epstein files just hours before Prince William arrives in Saudi Arabia for a three-day visit to the country.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his former wife Sarah Ferguson have both appeared in the documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
The former Duke and Duchess of York have always denied any wrongdoing.
A Kensington Palace spokesperson said on behalf of Catherine and William: “The Prince and Princess of Wales have been deeply concerned by the continued revelations.
“Their thoughts remain focused on the victims.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales have issued a joint statement on the Epstein files just hours before Prince William arrives in Saudi Arabia for a three-day visit to the country.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have become the second and third members of the Royal Family to publicly address the newly released Epstein files.
On Tuesday, Prince Edward became the first member of the Royal Family to issue a statement on the documents.
When questioned by CNN’s Eleni Gioko about how he was handling the fallout from the bombshell files, the 61-year-old Duke of Edinburgh called for the focus to be on the victims of Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaking at the World Governments Summit in Dubai, he said: “I think it’s all really important always to remember the victims and who are the victims in all this.”

The document release represents one of the largest disclosures related to the case, intensifying scrutiny on those connected to the late financier who died 2019.
On Thursday, King Charles remained silent after being asked whether the Royal Family would assist with the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
The monarch was asked during the royal engagement in Dedham: “Will your family help with the Epstein investigation?”
Appearing in the Epstein files is not evidence of any wrongdoing, and inclusion in the documents does not implicate anyone in Epstein’s criminality.

Kensington Palace has moved to clarify the Prince and Princess of Wales’ stance just hours before William embarks on his trip to Saudi Arabia.
The Prince of Wales is due to arrive in the Middle East this afternoon.
The palace was clearly eager for the royal couple’s position to be established, allowing the prince to concentrate fully on representing the UK.
The former Duke and Duchess of York’s links to Epstein have cast a shadow over royal engagements in recent weeks, drawing attention away from the family’s official duties.
