Lady Victoria Beckham said “it’s tough” after her son, Brooklyn, blocked the entire family. In recent months, the feud between the wannabe chef and his family has hit new lows.

Brooklyn, who often posts about his latest ventures on social media, failed to honour his dad, Sir David, after he was knighted last month. He also didn’t attend any of the celebrations for David’s 50th birthday. Instead, it was claimed he had hoped to have a private meeting with his father, rather than attend public events.

However, Brooklyn was in London at the time and was staying just a short distance from where the Beckham family celebrated. Over the weekend, Brooklyn’s younger brother, Cruz, 20, claimed the entire family had been blocked on Instagram.

But Victoria, 51, is putting on a brave face and was seen downing a shot before sipping on water with her beauty business colleagues as they prepared for Christmas. “Cheers to me! Enough about me, what do you guys think about me?” she asked her colleagues.

In another clip, Victoria sat back and tucked into delicious-looking food, while explaining that she loved rooms which boasted great light after watching her documentary. Captioning her upload, the former singer turned fashion and beauty mogul penned: “It’s a tough job being me, but someone’s gotta do it!”

She added: “Some unseen footage from the recent @victoriabeckhambeauty Creative Director series. Happy holidays everyone!”

Last weekend, Brooklyn shared a video on his Instagram page, roasting a beer-brined chicken and making mashed potatoes. Victoria had liked the post, but just days later, he had blocked his family. Initially, it was claimed that David and Victoria had unfollowed their eldest.

But Cruz later dismissed this claim on his own Instagram, saying: “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.” However, a source told the Daily Mail that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, are hoping that the family would “leave them alone”.

They added: “The Beckhams started these ‘blocking’ game stories earlier this year and they keep going. Whether someone follows someone else on Insta or any other platform shouldn’t be and isn’t a story. It’s a sad situation, but nothing has changed here.”

The source claimed that by Cruz speaking out on the alleged social media blocking, it is driving Brooklyn “further away” from his family. However, a source said to be close to David and Victoria has dismissed this, saying the family will never stop loving him. They added: “They will always be here for him and they always want him to know that, they are devastated at this fall out.

“So far from this being them, it appears that Brooklyn has blocked them to show them that’s it, this is final.” The source went on to tell the publication that following Brooklyn on social media was “their last connection”.

Amidst the fallout, he is not expected to spend the holidays at the Beckhams’ estate in the Cotswolds; instead, Brooklyn and Nicola will celebrate at their home in America. Despite the fallout, the family have in recent weeks attempted to build bridges with Brooklyn – but all posts have been ignored.

The Mirror has approached Brooklyn’s spokesperson for comment.
