Formerly known as Prince Andrew, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is facing fresh scandal as three million pages were released from the Epstein files. These pages included more emails between Andrew and the disgraced paedophile Epstein, along with photographs appearing to show Andrew crouched over a woman on the floor.
Royal commentator Richard Palmer was on GB News to discuss the latest bombshell, picking apart Andrew’s actions since his fateful BBC interview with Emily Maitlis in 2019. He explained on the show: “I’m sure royal aides will be trying to hide the television remote and the morning papers from the King and other members of the family this morning. It’s a scandal that won’t go away.
“I think many people would also say the British government has questions to answer about Andrew’s role when he was a trade envoy.
“Clearly the Palace has tried to distance itself from Andrew by stripping him of his honours, but more and more revelations keep coming out, and they drive a bigger hole in his story when he gave that television interview in 2019.”
Recounting what happened, Palmer added: “[He said] he’d essentially decided to end his friendship with Epstein and had gone over to New York in December 2010 to end it, but we see that there was a very close relationship still in the months following his release from house arrest in July 2010.

“We’ve got evidence that Andrew was inviting him to Buckingham Palace, that Epstein was setting him up with a Russian woman and a woman with the same name is also linked to another businessman friend of Epstein’s.
Viewers were left speechless over the segment, with one tweeting: “Hide the remote. That’ll fix it. Not accountability, not facts, not consequences, just a tactical cushion over the headlines. Peak British crisis management: if you can’t face the scandal, face the sofa.”
Another said: “It’s the same people being mentioned over and over!”
