Vick Hope shares rare snaps of son Micah as she tells what she’s ‘keen to celebrate’

BBC Radio 1’s Vick Hope has given fans a glimpse into her first Christmas as a family of three as she shared rare photos of her son Micah with husband Calvin Harris

Vick Hope has posted a precious photo of her baby boy Micah as she and hubby Calvin Harris celebrated their first Christmas as a trio.

The BBC Radio 1 host, 36, welcomed the couple’s first child in July, making her return to work for an awards bash in October.

Now she’s treated her Instagram fans to a glimpse of her festive celebrations with the legendary DJ and their little one. Vick opened her photo series with a stunning shot of herself in a glittering gold gown as she sat at a table ready for Christmas dinner.

She shared some pictures from Micah’s first Christmas

Next came a heartwarming image of Micah resting on her belly, followed by pictures showing ‘Summer’ hitmaker Calvin, 41, collecting their Christmas tree and their little one sporting a ‘my first Christmas’ onesie.

Family celebration moments continued with Calvin pictured beside the baby in his highchair. In her caption, Vic simply penned: “Twas the season.”

The idyllic snaps were worlds away from Vick’s confession in October that she’d been covered in “bright yellow s**t” since becoming a mum. Referencing a candid image of her placenta that husband Calvin had shared, she quipped: “‘It was posted by my husband but placentas are amazing.”

“I am keen to celebrate motherhood after what my vagina has done – it’s f***ing majestic. And now you’ve all seen my placenta too!”.

The placenta picture formed part of a collection of snaps he shared when announcing his son’s arrival on Instagram back in August.

The post included photos of Vick in a birthing pool and snaps of her placenta with capsules, hinting at the possibility of encapsulation – a trend that’s gaining popularity.

In the caption, he penned: “20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.”

Vick had previously shared a series of summer highlights on Instagram, looking glowing as she held their son at their expansive Spanish home. Calvin and Vick chose to keep their pregnancy under wraps for as long as possible before finally announcing the happy news back in late May.

After a few weeks of dropping heavy hints online earlier this year – including sharing snaps from a recent baby shower – Countryfile presenter Vick finally confirmed her pregnancy in May.

The pregnant star and producer Calvin often keep their relationship low-key but have let slip minor details in the past, including their Glastonbury themed wedding back in September 2023.

Vick announced that she and the music legend were to become parents for the first time while speaking live on Radio 1. At the time, Vick confirmed her happy news and spoke about her pregnancy for the first time.

Calvin purchased the breathtaking 138-acre farm, known as Terra Masia, back in 2022, and the couple spent a large part of the summer there, with Vick even giving birth at the Ibiza property.
