Sarah Ferguson will reportedly be overseas for the next few months as the deadline to move home approaches.

Sarah Ferguson will be overseas for the next few weeks as she continues to look for a new home, with the deadline to vacate Royal Lodge approaching. It is reported she will be mulling over where to live next, and the move comes after Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was ordered to surrender the lease on the Windsor property.
Sources emphasise that Fergie plans to move forward independently and has not requested a royal property or special provision for herself. Although the former Duke and Duchess of York divorced in 1996, they remained amicable, and they continued to live together at the 30-room mansion in Windsor.
A spokesperson for Sarah further dismissed rumours that she might move into an annexe or converted barn at the country home of her eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, and rumours that she may live with Princess Eugenie in Portugal has also been dismissed.

As reported in PEOPLE, a spokesperson said: “She is assessing a number of options currently, and no final decision has been made.”
The King, 77, made the historic move in light of renewed scrutiny around Andrew’s ties to the late, disgraced Jeffrey Epstein, a relationship which led to his withdrawal from public life in 2019. Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing and denied accusations made against him.
Buckingham Palace shared that Andrew would relocate to a property on the private Sandringham Estate. It has been reported that Andrew will move to Marsh Farm in the small village of Wolferton, just a few miles from Sandringham House.
Over the last few weeks, work has been seen to be ongoing at the home. This includes the installation of CCTV cameras, a security system and new fences.

After it was announced that Andrew, 65, was ordered to surrender his Royal Lodge lease, a source told PEOPLE that Sarah “is going to be moving out and into a separate home.”
“Contrary to reports, she has never asked for a property or any provision for herself,” the source added. “She will continue to forge an independent life.”
A second source close to Fergie said that she will find her own place and is “going to move forward independently.”
