Meghan and Harry skewered on TalkTV after couple try to ‘one-up’ William and Kate

The presenter slammed the couple’s recent trip to Jordan.

TalkTV presenter Kevin O’Sullivan launched into a furious rant over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s trip to Jordan, claiming the couple is trying to “one-up” Prince William and Princess Kate. The Duke, 41, and Duchess of Sussex, 44, spent two days in the Middle East to highlight the humanitarian efforts by the Jordanian authorities and several agencies supporting the health and wellbeing of Syrians and Palestinians.

They carried out various engagements and met with officials and diplomats, including being hosted by the British Ambassador, Phillip Hall. However, Kevin dismissed the visit as nothing more than a “photo opportunity”, branding it “utterly pointless” after the Sussexes were reportedly snubbed in their attempts to meet members of Jordan’s royal family.

Kicking off the rant, he said: “This is the third, weird, pretend royal tour stage by the gruesome twosome, Harry and Meghan. They’ve already once been to Nigeria, Columbia and now they’ve pitched up in Jordan.

“They went to refugee camps, hospitals. They were apparently invited to these heartrending venues by the World Health Organisation. Lot’s of photo opportunities, headline-hunting, that’s what it looks like.”

He continued: “It looks like tit for tat publicity blitzing by Meghan. She loves that because anything William and Kate do, they can do better. William was in the Middle East only two weeks ago and suddenly Harry and Meghan are in the Middle East.

“It turns out now, as they tour Jordan, they’ve been snubbed by Jordan’s Royal Family, King Abdullah and his eldest son who are close with Charles and William.”

Kevin added: “They have swerved meeting the Sussexes which makes this trip to Jordan just seem even more pointless than it ever was. It’s just utterly pointless. It’s just a photo opp and a headline opportunity.”

He was joined by royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, who criticised the couple even further.

She raged: “I’m just fed up. Take the titles away from these two idiots. Meghan Markle can’t find a steamer to save her life. I’m sick of looking at Harry’s bald spot. Who are you there to represent other than yourself? You are the two most entitled and self-obsessed people.

Her furious rant continued: “Get a real job. Nobody wants you in this position. You quit the job when you had it because you have no backbone, no discipline, no work ethic.

“You want to pop in and out whenever you feel like it. All you do is jeopardise the monarchy, the real members of the British Royal Family, when you go and do these trips,” she added.
