Nicola Peltz has appeared to aim another pointed barb at the Beckham family, just days after her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, skipped the wedding of a close family friend. The US heiress, 30, raised eyebrows on Sunday when she shared a glossy selfie from Los Angeles, captioned: “Love being home” — a post many saw as loaded, given where she and Brooklyn were not spending the festive period. Rather than travelling to the UK for Holly Ramsay’s wedding, Nicola and Brooklyn, 26, stayed in California, reigniting speculation over the simmering rift between Brooklyn and his famous parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

The timing of the post quickly drew attention, as did Brooklyn’s public show of support in the comments, where he wrote: “Damn she sexy xx.” The aspiring chef has recently blocked his family on Instagram amid the ongoing feud. Nicola posed in a black vest and sunglasses, while Brooklyn, who spent Christmas with his billionaire in-laws, appeared keen to make his allegiance clear online.

Holly, 25, tied the knot with Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, 31, in a lavish ceremony attended by David and Victoria, alongside Romeo, Cruz and Harper Beckham. Brooklyn was the only member of the immediate family missing.

It is not known whether Brooklyn was invited to the wedding and declined, or whether he was not included on the guest list.

However, sources have suggested it would be unlikely for Holly to have excluded him, as the Ramsays are said to have an “open door” policy when it comes to their relationship with Brooklyn.

Other insiders echoed that sentiment, adding that the family take “the door is always open” approach with the eldest Beckham son, despite his bitter feud with his parents.

The Beckhams and the Ramsays have been close friends since the early 2000s, with their children growing up together after both families relocated to the US. Brooklyn was once particularly close to Gordon and Tana Ramsay’s eldest son Jack.

That friendship has reportedly since faded. The Daily Mail previously revealed that Brooklyn’s relationship with Jack, now serving in the Marines, has “fizzled out”, with friends believing their bond began to unravel when Brooklyn started dating Nicola.

It has been described as a “huge shame”, given how close the pair once were. There was also no sign of Jack at Brooklyn and Nicola’s vow renewal ceremony earlier this summer.

Over Christmas, Brooklyn shared glimpses of life in the States, including a snap of one of his rescue dogs wearing a green Grinch-themed hat and clips of himself playing tennis with American pro Reilly Opelka and Nicola’s brother Bradley.

He also posted a loved-up photo of himself and Nicola holding hands on Christmas Eve, captioning it: “My Everything.”

The message appeared to follow his decision to block his family, and was seen by some as “hitting back” at the Beckhams with a “thinly veiled barb.”
